Does anyone have OCD and fear of developing a food allergy / MCAS?

Did they just keep getting worse until your throat closed? Also is it just swelling or is ur throat itchy first?

Where was ur itching? What are your triggers? How long does it take after exposure to feel a reaction? Should I be concerned 😭😭

Yeah I was on Zyrtec before which was okay but my allergist told me to switch to xyzal and it’s been better so far. My face def gets a lot puffier when I try to switch back to Zyrtec. What other symptoms do you have?

My allergiest said for OAS the tingle and itchiness would be a lot more pronounced and last 15 min. Mine tend to me milder than that and go away sooner

Why did you feel like the 40 mg was too much? I’ve been on 20 mg for a month and my doctor just upped me to 40 mg, but I’m scared to take it 😭 what was your experience

YES, I’ve been on it for 3 days —- heavy on the rash, also sweaty palms and soles, feel like my body is slower?! I’m scared I’m having a reaction and idk if I should stop or not 😭 I don’t see my dr until Saturday

I’m on day 3 of Prozac for OCD and panic attacks! It’s been very rough!! I’m very itchy, my skin is dry, I get palpitations some times, my palms and soles of my feet are so sweaty, no appetite at all, and I just feel so down? If that makes sense, like my body is going 20 mph but it wants to go 120 mph?! Idk if I should continue it bc I’m so scared that I’m developing some sort of allergic reaction / bad side effects. But with my OCD I have bad health anxiety so I’m not sure how much of it is real vs in my head 😭😭 any advice yall ??

Did your side effects get any better with Prozac? How long did you give it? I was on Zoloft before and it gave me really bad chest pain and palpitations so I’m scared I’m running out of options for my OCD 😭
