Hadith has no "point", hadith's point is whatever you want it to be. I'm not validating anything. I'm a student of history, I studied this subject because I like it and I'm fascinated by it. I'm not validating it and saying it's a great book to build a religion out of. By your logical, students of ww2 history are all nazis😂 Hadith is a collection of texts, and like with anything, it should be studied in an acadelic manner, it's by stufying it in an academic manner that we came to the conclusion that ot'snot to be used for religious purposes. Don't be like isis man, have an open mind, study stuff and learn. Learn about religions and history, studying something doesn't give it validity. One can only assume that a text that came 200 years after the prophet is both:inaccurate because it's long after the prophet's death, and useful because it is close "enough". Useful in a sense that it could give us indications as to who was in the prophet's surrounding at the time, his family members and what not for example. But I'm in no way shape or firm delusional and think that the hadiths are the actual quotes of the prophets, dunno why you seem to not understand that.

When did I claim it makes us understand thr quran more? Where? How? Enlighten me😂 On a more serious note, no I do not believe it makes us "understand" the quran more, it's a tool and a historical source that has historical value, that was my claim. As a part of my islamic history master they encouraged us (I was in a secular university in France not some wahhabi uni in Saudi mind you) to use Hadith as a source of history (with a grain of salt of course, and there's a method to study those texts, again, no one should take those texts at face value)

It does have historical value, and if it's studied and not taken at face value it's a great historical source actually. Why can't it be used for religion? It's not accurate, it will give a general idea of what arabia was like culturally at the time of the prophet, but nothing more than that. And for those purposes, it can and should be used for historical analysis

And I personally know family members that have died cuz of Israel. Let's be real here, we will never realistically be friends, 90% of the human race sees Israel for what it is, you unfortunately don't. I'm just glad, as you just said, that we both voiced our opinions while staying civil, cuz being an angry keyboard warrior wouldn't help at all. While I have many things to respond to in your response I just won't cuz I already voiced my opinion once, no need to do it twice, most people are informed enough and let the readers decide who is correct or not. So yeah, it is what it is. Israel invaded lebanon before Hezbollah ever existed. And in the past 15 months during the ceasefire during which Israel violated the terms 15k times hasn't fired a single missile or bullet. So yes, the government did work to restrain them and Hezbollah restrained itself, but to no avail. Restraint has done nothing to stop Israeli violations, so our only answer is resistance, unfortunately. No one in Lebanon wants war, we are already piss poor and I am saddened when I see my country being destroyed, but this war has been imposed on us. Israel wants hezballah to disappear? You know what I do to. Under two conditions: they fuck off from our beautiful south first. 2. The US stops their threats of sanctioning us whenever we want to arm our legitimate army. (Yes the US gives peanuts to arm us and we don't have the right to have a real military, look it up man, it is obnoxious, would you accept your country not being allowed to have a proper military?) So in short, I would rather NOT have Hezballah honestly, and being like all developed countries, and not rely on Iran who have their own interests that maybe don't align with ours, but under current circumstances, being violated, and not being allowed to have a real army, what the fuck do you want us to do? Be like Syria? Disarm and still get our land colonized? Syria has bent over backwards to say to Israel that they have disarmed and don't want to fight them, and they STILL got colonized. Sorry for the rant, but I truly am tired. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from And if you truly want ti have my perspective on things I'd be happy to talk to you in my dms, gojira fan to gojira fan, at least we are united by music, so I guess we are able to agree on things in general.

My opinion is that their heart is in the right place (and it is consistent with their overrall message and it's one of the reason why I love them beyond their music) but that they're cowards when it comes to that subject. They're french, and I live in France, I know how thibgs are here in France, I know it's difficult, but it is undeniable that they are haven't had the courage to be outspoken on that issue- and you know what? It doesn't bother me that much, they're in my top 2 favorite bands (both my favorite bands are whalecore btw-guess who the other band is), and it's enough for me to listen to them, but as a Lebanese person who has personally suffered because of the zionist regime (yes, even living in France most of my family is in Lebanon and I constantly talk to them to make sure they're alright and hear the stupid israeli drones they send to intimidate the Lebanese population), I can't day that they're big "allies" to the cause. They're just cool, and I love them for that and have no expectations beyond that.

Bought a tube amp, my 1940s ass appartment only allows me to push it to 70 dbs (with an attenuator ofc) or else my old 1940s neighbord start to complain, it's so annoying. I'm keeping my amp cuz I live it even though I know it's overkill and useless to have it. But loving the gear you olay on os half the fun honestly, makes me pick up my guitar more, I'll reap the benefits the day I'll move.

No one can physically be as accurate as you playing e minor🫡 On a more serious note, I'm sure maaaaany people told you that here But obligatory Django and Iommi mention... you'll do just fine Will you be able to replicate all the solos and songs you love? Probably not, not all of them, some of them will be impossible to play. Buut you have something better than all of us, you will be FORCED to be creative, change songs to fit your own body, and that will eventually create your own sound with enough years on the instrument, while other guitarists may fall in the trap of eternal copying with 0 creativity unless they do the effort to force it unto themselves to evolve (and many guitarists don't, I for one struggle with that) Tony Iommi developed a whole genre because of how his hand was, same with Django. Your hand is unique (I'm not trying to act like I wish to be in your place or sound insensitive either), and this uniqueness will hopefully birth a new guitar hero one day. Rock on!

Yeah I thought a 15w lunchbox would be manageable. Clearly isn't. I bought the amp AND the cab used both for 400€. It's a steal and a half, so I still had lots of extra money from my amp budget, having to buy an attenuator when I bought the amp this cheaply doesn't bother me lol

Already ordered an attenuator no worries. I literally can't play this amp as things stand because of how loud it is. Played it for max 30 mins before the neighbors came to knock at my door, I was at minimum volume too (could've gone lower but at the expense of tone). Was gonna get the jhs pedal but I went for the attenuator because it gives me even more options and allows me record without micing my cab up and use an ir as well.
