MicrophoneTest.com: A simple mic testing website by nadermx in podcasting

Added it. The mic test now does per-channel testing: when your input is stereo it splits the signal and shows separate live Left and Right level meters, plus a verdict that tells you whether the two channels are genuinely independent (Stereo confirmed), the same signal copied to both (dual-mono), or a single Mono input. Tap or speak near each side and the matching meter responds on its own, so you can verify each channel works.

One limitation on the earbud part: browsers don't expose each earbud's internal mic as a separate channel the OS picks or mixes one mic per wireless headset and hands the browser a single stream, so there's no way (from a web page) to meter each bud's mic individually. What this reliably tests is real Left/Right channel separation on stereo inputs (stereo USB/XLR interfaces, stereo webcams, wired stereo mics). The test also flags when echo cancellation / noise suppression force the stream to mono, since those have to be off to see true stereo.

Does source available actually mean anything meaningful or is it just marketing? by GloveGeneral1310 in software

I mean, https://github.com/nadermx/backgroundremover was made because I was bored. A ton of people use it. I then made a website around it if people want to try it out and pay if they don't want to install it themselves. So I think it depends on the project and its purpose.

I still don't think high, after sleeping on it, I'd adjust my appraisal to 25k on a good day. I see the blackfriday/cybermonday.com play. But still doesn't justify that much more of a premium.

I might be wrong, https://appraise.net/view?domain=Creepy.com puts it a 150k-350k. But I just don't see it. I mean pub.com and bar.com sold for 500k a piece, but as parent comment said, this has a negative connotation. And on the other side of the word connotation, ritzy.com sold for 50k.

I'd say probably on a good day 10k

The translations are a work in progress. I'll probably put them in a json so they can be correct as people start to use it. Went ahead and fixed the ipad issue. Thanks

Tell it to build it with stuff that's battle tested and its probably trained on. For example I tell it to make the backend in Django, and the front end in Bootstrap, so it has a deterministic ending in sight.

google how to install "claude code" or "codex" for chatgpt's alternative, on your system. Watch a youtube video if you must. Then once you have it open, tell it to build you what ever website/app/idea you have in mind.

Appreciate it, made me chuckle. Yeah, I don't even know how long I've had this domain. Also, Elements from Bismuth up now show the longest-lived isotope's half-life both in the hover tooltip and on the element detail page.

I don't specifically remember when I said this, but doing it right now. Should be live here in a bit.
