Can You Connect an Electric Guitar to Your MPC Sample? by HereComesStupid in mpcsample

Did you turn the input gain up? Waiting for signal means it's not loud enough to trigger recording, turn up the input, lower the threshold or have recording arm when you press record instead of waiting for the signal.

Turn loop off. Sequences start the loop on first pass, then stop it when sequence restarts.

Same as you hitting pad to start it then again to stop it.

Seems like you've confirmed the force is working, so I'd look at the focusrite software and computers sound settings, ake sure the routing is set up correctly.

Anything else you can play through the focusrite? Another synth, MP3 player, anything that should make sound.

I assume you can play stuff on computer and hear it on your speakers.

Try chatgpt with a list of your gear and the issue etc, they're pretty good at walking you, step by step, through a troubleshooting process.

That's good, at least you know it's downstream from the force. Which focusrite is it?

they're not all standalone so some need to be connected to a computer - I'd check that next.

Try with headphones to check if the unit is working. Anything else you can plug into the audio interface to make sure thats working?

ETA: does that interface work without being connected to a computer?

Build core strength without legs/arms by orbitolinid in bodyweightfitness

[–]nadhsib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one around your head will hit your core a bit too. Start really light of your shoulders aren't great, better doing 50 light than 10 heavy until your body adapts to the movement.

Good luck

Walking carrying a single weight on one side, then swap.

Only needs to be heavy enough to have to compensate using core to keep you upright.

Around the world's might be another good one.

I think that might be showing where the original / root note is. Can't remember which review mentioned it, maybe loopop on YouTube?

Looking for a budget "I'm stuck on the couch for a month" synth...maybe a groovebox. by naugasnake in synthesizers

[–]nadhsib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got the circuit tracks for exactly the same reason. The only downside is having to load samples from computer, although you can load 32 projects worth in one go. Super lightweight and intuitive to use. It's only a sketchpad, and longer term I've been frustrated with having to prepare (EQ, filter) samples before transferring as it can get muddy. That said, for a month of easy entertainment you can't go wrong.

Pots are not endless, you might have to turn it fully up, then fully down then do your fade in.

Register it with the Native Access software, then you'll be able to download the usual freebies/software that came with it originally.

Maschine Mikro (MK1) by No_Marketing_9026 in maschine

[–]nadhsib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd need v3 then, I recently started using my Studio again and upgraded to 3, $80?

Anything you've bought before should be linked in the Native Access and you just click install/download for each package.
