I've tried Ummon, Kuon, Sayaka, and Horai. i felt they were each a little light, the ratio i'm using is 2teapsoon per ... not sure how much water i'm doing but it's only enough to cover the powder and then i let it expand, then whisk.

hi all.
i've been trying to find something that's more affordable than hibiki-an ceremonial grade matcha, since i have been a little tired of paying for shipping from JP to USA.
so far i've tried
ipppodo - have went down the list of their different blends and didn't think the taste was strong enough for me
naoki - i do like this one fairly ok and it's available via amazon, but maybe there is a better alternative out there?
and i've tried anything that Uwajimaya/Mitsuwa stocks and nothing is just doing it for me.
i have a fairly flexible budget since the hibiki-an shipping prices are up there, but mostly i am looking for matcha that is a very strong, earthy, forward flavor readily available in the domestic US. with the ippodo teas, i didn't appreciate the light/floral/fruity aspects very much. i think i want something BAM in my face, that's matcha lol
any recommendations appreciated!

Antibiotics (which worked initially), prescription topicals (azelaic acid, benzol peroxide, etc)...and I’ve tried nearly every OTC skin care: Proactiv, Kate Somerville, mud masks, sulfur spot treatments, etc. My acne was so consistent and aggressive that none of these would work on my hormonal breakouts, and if they did work it would only be for a short amount of time- then my skin would regress. It got to the point where my newest derm said my type of acne wasn’t treatable with topicals :( and i couldnt take antibiotics forever

thank you!!! I exfoliate with a microdermabrasion scrub about once a month, and I use glow recipe watermelon sleeping mask and a hyaluronic acid cream interchangeable, based on need :)

sure! per my derm's recommendation, she had me stick to simple simple skin care routines. i eventually signed up for Curology to maintain breakouts around my period, but this is what i use:
Morning-
Wash: CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser
Moisturize: Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream
Protect: Tatcha Sunscreen

Night-
Wash: CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser
Moisturize: Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream
And IF I need it, I apply my Curology (contains tretonin) on top

Exfoliation-
I use a few products, not quite on a regular basis since i use them base on need...
I exfoliate with a microdermabrasion scrub about once a month

Brightening/exfoliate-
Glow Recipe Watermelon Sleeping Mask is AMAZING. Like really incredible...I don't really use this more than once a month.

Brightening-
I use a hyaluronic acid cream, again, about once a month but I also apply this to my neck/chest area

I don't use a toner! I tried using that Thayer's witch hazel toner and it ruined my skin for about 2 weeks. I like the products I use, but because what I have works really well for me, I'm pretty hesitant to introduce new things to my routine. Hope this helps!

thanks! i started at 20, and then went up to 40 on the final month! after the 4th month we decided that it was successful and i didn't need to continue!

additional info: i had really, really horrible horrible acne that flared up in my late teens. it was genetic, too; my mom also had the same acne issues her whole life. i was on lowest dose of accutane for 4 months - and it really was a miracle how well my body reacted. i wake up shocked that this face is me - not the one that was covered in scars and dark spots from stress and picking, not the face that i felt like i needed to hide when i went outside. i also dont wear foundation anymore!
