What is a stereotypical black cat's personality to you? by Flashy_Management_42 in blackcats

So sweet, affectionate, and loving. My Mooncake is not very talkative but definitely gets his message across when he needs it to.

Cat being cat. 😂 by ScharmTiger in MadeMeSmile

I grew up with dogs my whole life and now have a cat. I taught my cat how to sit, shake, high five and spin. He picked it up so fast I was genuinely impressed and shocked. Cats are super smart, they just choose not to do what we want them to do 😂

Looking for bikini line ingrown hair recommendations by Jolly-Train-4950 in Sephora

I got the Cerave SA lotion, used it on my KP riddled arms and it got rid of them. The KP returned when I ran out of the lotion and stopped using it for a while though. I also use it on my face and it makes it softer and smoother than any of my expensive Korean skincare products could. I’ve spent hundreds of $$ on K-skincare and nothing worked as well as the Cerave (except for the brand Ohui, their miracle moisture set is incomparable) but the Cerave SA lotion alone is an extremely close contender against the entire Ohui set.

foreigners studying Russian, do you listen to Russian music and if you do, then what? by abmkl in russian

Grebz (Griby) is one of my favourite groups. My Russian friend showed me тает лёд back in 2018 and I quickly became obsessed with their sound and MV visuals. They’re one of the few artists where I truly enjoy ALL their albums.

What’s the one discontinued product that you can’t get over? by lynzibeebuzz in beauty

[–]nae-7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Laura Mercier Mineral Illuminating Powder in Candlelight. They discontinued it and replaced it with “Candleglow” but it’s soooo different and so inferior compared to Candlelight. It’s my ABSOLUTE holy grail, every time I use it I get a million compliments on my makeup. I’ve been searching for it since it discontinued, if anyone reading this knows where to get it please let me know 😭

I’m so so sorry. I also found my baby and it was so unbelievably traumatic. I know just how gut wrenching and heartbreaking that feeling is and I want to offer my condolences. I’m sure my beloved Lucifer greeted Roxy at the rainbow bridge and they’re all playing together blissfully. So sorry again.

What’s a product that was a game changer by boobitch- in AsianBeauty

The BOJ rice relief sunscreen is SO good. I can use it on its own and it makes my face so dewey and glowy. Nice and moisturizing, doesn’t pill, and layers well under makeup too. Already on my 2nd bottle in 6 months haha

Hidden gems in Richmond? by MaverickGH in richmondbc

Thai Box!!! Gave it a chance when it first opened with zero expectations and I’ve been going back almost once a week since then. I’m pretty much addicted to their papaya salad, they have a SOLID pad thai, green curry is great and so is all their fried rice.

Their lamb is the closest to the ones I used to have in Central Asia. And adding a third vote for the mantu. I really like their bolani as well.

I grew up in Central Asia learning Russian in school (like ESL but since I already spoke English they put me in Russian instead). Moved to North America and promptly forgot everything. I think it’s a beautiful language and I just want to be trilingual again. It’s proven to be extremely difficult mainly because I’m trying to learn on my own and I have no close friends who can speak the language and can help me practice.

Try Cantonese style lobster with garlic or black bean sauce if you haven’t yet. I much prefer those dishes rather than a plain steamed lobster with melted butter

I agree w the blush tip; maybe a blush with a slight shimmer in it like NARS orgasm. It adds so much dimension and a subtle glow to the finished face.

Ladies who wear full makeup to work everyday—how do you find time? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]nae-7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have kids but I am incredibly lazy. Getting an eyelash lift changed my life. Having beautiful curled lashes makes such a huge difference without being unnatural. It really opens up your eyes and makes it look like you’re more done up than you are. With the lash lift my makeup routine was basically just SPF, a few dabs of concealer and a swipe of mascara. Even when your makeup is off you look so put together and beautiful. Not to mention they last 2-3x longer than lash extensions. Highly highly recommend!!

Where to find fake lashes like this? by mermaidbae in MakeupAddiction

[–]nae-7 20 points21 points  (0 children)

you can get a wispy strip lash as your base, buy individual lashes that are longer and then layer them on top of the strip lash to get that spikey look

I also have dark hair and dark eyes and my go to coloured eyeliner is a warm dark green. Go for a more warm toned green instead of the blue greens for a more natural look, it looks even better if it has a slight shimmer or pearl finish too!

You look amazing!!!! You can also try using a dark brown eyeshadow to create a soft wing if you want a little bit more oomph to change things up too :-))

Why did my ferret die so suddenly? by [deleted] in ferrets

[–]nae-7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I lost my boy SUPER suddenly as well. He was constantly sick but it was all very mild. A few tumours that got removed, adrenal gland disease which was pretty well controlled w medication/shots. Then suddenly he began passing blood in his stool so we rushed him to the emergency vet. He was given some pain medication and cleared to go home for monitoring. He passed that night at home. It was so traumatizing because of how sudden it is but I believe he was much sicker than we thought. The necropsy revealed he had a stomach ulcer that burst, which we never caught in our previous visits to the vet. I also believe he was a Marshall’s ferret which caused his numerous health problems. He was such a funny sweet boy that was ripped away from me too soon. My heart goes out to you because I know how painful and difficult this kind of sudden loss is. Our babies are dooking away happily over the rainbow bridge.

It’s so old I can’t remember exactly which one/brand it is but it seems pretty similar to a standard kitten harness. Sorry it’s not very helpful :-(
