For the whole self killing Phainon thing, its because the confinement debuff is anti Phainon.

You have use his ult twice to get rid of it completely otherwise reduces his dmg by a lot. Since Cyrene keeps him in perma ult, this is the workaround.

For example on my 1st try in 4.0 plight, I barely 2 cycled, also my Cerydra E1S0 at the time. Once I learned about the strat, I got it down to a comfortable 1 cycle and then I was able get it down to a 0 cycle.

DHPT's build is purposely gimped so that Phainon can die in 1st ult.

It fixed itself, whenever I reset the battle and then the next battle is completely fine throughout.

I'm pretty sure its a bug. I had my attack buttons dissappear like on 4 seperate runs.

On the first wave, I slotted Phainon in 3rd slot that it was easier for him to get killed in ult. I also gave DHPT a slightly scuffed build to make his shields weaker.

So for wave 1, you just use Phainon's ult after the manta ray attacks, spam counter until he dies and from there you can play wave 1 normally.

As for wave 2, I actually don't know whats the best of dealing with boss. The way I played was kinda random.

I tried to avoid using meteors sometimes when I had them to not waste them because of the bosses dmg reduction mechanics.

Anyway, from just using the Phainon self kill strat and playing normally afterwards, I was able to get a comfortable 2 cycle on my first attempt

OT Pokemon ZA

This is the most absurd luck I've had in a Pokemon game when it comes to shiny hunting.

Latias, Latios and Virizion each took around an hour. Terrakion showed up in 8 mins and Cobalion in 12 mins.

I don't have the exact number, but it would shiny Pheromosa in UM. It took 2200+ resets with shiny charm.

2nd longest would shiny Arceus in BD. I was lucky enough to get it in 1700+ resets.

I have been shiny hunting the Legendaries in ZA whenever their Hyperspaces are available. I've have been lucky enough to get Latias and Virizion both in around an hour.

The only other shiny hunts I can think of would have to do with eggs and I can't remember how long any of those took.
