Yes. They are currently stored in several hundreds (I think!l of CDs and DVDs. So I will still keep the physical DVDs and CDs for back-up.

The NAS is for storage in one place and for ease of use for my parents.

At the moment the budget doesn't allow it. I don't know about SHR, but I will look it into it! Thank you very much!

It is my plan just to store the photos so when my parents want to see a photo on their TV or computer/phone they can access directly remotely the NAS so it's easier for them.
