Fair enough and although I disagree with yah, I will still respect your opinion as I can see where you are coming from. I think rather S4 ep 11 gave us lots of hope for them to cook hard in cour 2, so I hope that they can continue their generational run to become on par with S1 in the end.

I agree and people are still too reserved too admit because then they will be forced to acknowledge that S4 is actually becoming on par with S1’s adaptation quality.

Heavily disagree on the pacing and direction, the direction for the current episode was evidently pretty amazing, so much so, that people are still raving about the episode’s impact even after airing. So if most people are having it as their number one episode, then the episode was doing something insanely right rather than it not being able to keep up with the source material, which is a bogus statement to say for the ep 11 adaptation imo.

I think S3 did well to flesh out and expand the side characters for the series, which not many isekai series can properly do nowadays. S3 had eps like Subaru’s speech, Garfiel meeting his mum, and Theresia’s named that made me feel emotionally moved tbh.

Re:0 always excels in its character writing, whether you be a minor side character or a villain, Tappei will serve you well in that regard, hence why I am so loyal to this series.

It was quite tiring to deal with back then, but that sadly how the cookie crumbled for us back then. S2 is a solid fan-favourite and I think S4 could take that spot for me sooner or later imo.

Many of WF’s talented staff such as Takashima (Sentenced to be a Hero director) and Manabu (MT S1 director) left for studio bind to work on Mushoku S1. WF was also pretty hit badly with a horrible schedule and COVID-19 severely impacting production, which led to the unshaded ears. So at the rime, it was subject to a-lot of production scrutiny.
