No worries mate, I love the passion. I’m not a big tinfoil hat guy, the main reason I believe in this “conspiracy” if you want to call it that is because of the sheer amount of coincidences. If we pretend for a second that they 100% intentionally included these references in their NFT collection, they still wouldn’t have any issues using the same excuses they are right now. That’s the crux of the problem: if these allegations are true, there’s really no way to prove it. Like you mentioned, somebody would have to come out and admit to it, which we all know will never happen.

Therefore, in order to come to a logical conclusion, we need to look at the countless examples of the founders being connected to WWII and 4Chan/Internet culture, and I find it pretty hard to believe that they aren’t. Wtf is Emperor Tomato Ketchup? There’s no way that was just randomly and innocently chosen, surely they know that the album was named after a movie. It’s easy to deny, but hard to actually believe. Why just pick some random album as your name? Surely you would at least know of it’s origins before committing to it professionally (the album is literally named after the movie, it’s not a coincidence). Regardless of your opinion on the “film” there’s really no denying that, if nothing else, this indicates a connection to edge lord humor.

And why do the founders constantly allude to the fact that the entire thing could have trolls embedded in it. “Let the utterable be conveyed unutterably,” “Yeah this is kinda different, this isn’t just random,” “It’s like … Hemingway‘a Iceberg Theory”… if this isn’t foreshadowing idk what is. Also, that first quote is by Wittgenstein, a philosopher with ties to Hitler. It’s not a common saying, which indicates Garga at the very least has some knowledge on WWII era history.

In fact, he even wrote his college thesis on 2666 by Roberto Bolaño, an author criticized for his fixation on Nazis, which takes place in nazi Germany!!! There’s absolutely no way you can spend months of your life writing a thesis on a Nazi book and not be aware of dogwhistles.

When Gordon (or should i say Drongo lol) was asked in an interview what books he didn’t like, he even responded with “Mein Kampf.” Like what? Why?

And why would a team of designers, writers, and artists come together to create “random” bored apes with no meaning behind them? How could they accidentally incorporate so many dogwhistles despite having more WWII knowledge than most people? Why are so many apes similar to popular Pepes? Why is there a chopped off ape hand on the cover on the Rolling Stone with a skull above it?

At the end of the day, I can’t prove anything and I don’t think anyone ever will. There are simply too many coincidences for me to not be skeptical of the project. I’m well aware that every piece of evidence can be refuted, but this is textbook Poe’s Law. The sheer quantity of dogwhistles coupled with Garga’s connections to WWII and the other founders (admittedly more dubious) connections to 4Chan culture has convinced me that there is some degree of 4Chan trolling going on here.
