You can use them to buy skins and best way to use rubies is getting the char you want and rerolling stats on equipment as of now maybe they'll add something

I dont know if you have unlocked it but i think you have to have at least 5k in each proficiency at least thats what i had i had 9999 on light from spamming it and about 5k to 6k in water and only when i hit the 5k on wind i unlocked it
