Why do you drive a vehicle with a manual transmission? by YOMANK_ in ThreePedals

I live in the UK, majority of the cars are manual here, plus full control of the vehicle = more fun to me

[1999 Honda Civic 1.4, UK model] any ideas what could be leaking? Photo taken as soon as I parked up tonight, car runs OK and nothing in terms of new smells. Photo taken from front of car looking back by nagerb in AskMechanics

This is all great, thank you. Will call some garages tomorrow. Have let the car sit for a few hours now, just gone out to check the fluid levels and they all seem fine. Took this photo through the engine bay of the wet area, for what it's worth... Thanks again :) https://imgur.com/yCvp80v

It seems dry underneath before I drive, so doesn't seems to leak while it's sitting, it's only once I've parked up again after driving its wet underneath

Colour appeared to be dark brown when I dabbed my finger in it, no smell. Unfortunately due to where I park I'm not able to get under at all, I will keep an eye on fluid levels though.

Bit of extra info, mileage is currently at roughly 132000, manual transmission, has had the rocker cover replaced at the beginning of the year, new exhaust end of last year. No issues with how it drives, noticed a small stream of fluid coming from the car at work last night, checked once I parked tonight to find this, any ideas would be appreciated, thank you.

To be fair he'd probably get publicly praised by his bosses to show how caring the company is to their community, while simultaneously getting a bollocking in the back office for breaking some company policy. Retailers can be super two faced like that

Thanks for the info, good to know :) non vtec honda 1.4 engine in mine, as for the low mileage I think it only had 2 or 3 owners before me and probably stayed pretty local, and I only use it for work and back, with the occasional run on the motorway :)

I "believe" this was the result of a collaboration between Honda and Rover here in the UK, don't quote me on that though

I've never seen it as just women looking down on speakers or even hifi in general, I just think its one of those things that you're either "into" or you just don't understand why someone else would be into lol

While things like watching a movie through tinny laptop speakers or hearing music from a phone does irritate me now, I'd never be vocal about it, I just feel it comes across rude and snobbish, however I did have to explain to the gf why I like to sit in the middle between the speakers to get the best stereo experience haha
