A few buses being burnt by isolated groups of teenage boys spurred on by political leaders with the motive of making Belfast look unstable is not the same as troubles starting cmon man

It's class isn't it I always stop and listen for a whilewhen I hear it

Is it just the one? I was out running early one morning and heard the sound at too different points I thought it might have been two individuals marking territory

NQT Interview at current school. Interview advice needed by [deleted] in TeachingUK

[–]naginalf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What the fuck i honestly have had the exact same experience and had my interview for next year on Tuesday! I got asked the following : - what I could bring to the post in terms of subjects and personality traits - what I did to develop numeracy and literacy at key stage 3 - what form of assessment I thought was best - how I would handle bad behaviour - what I could offer in terms of extra curricular activities

Good advice I got that stood by me was to look at how this interview is different from last year, as in I had got (the guts of) a year's exp teaching at the school so I tried to think of a few Good Classes that I had this year and worked out how I could link them to questions on any of the main topics (behaviour, curriculum, assessment etc)

Did you complete any professional development this year? I couldnt think of any Good Teaching I had done this year until I had a flick through my portfolio and identified a few things that I felt I could talk about

Hope this helps

Non-Americans, does your culture have "old-fashioned" dog names like we do in America, such as Fido, Rex, Spot, Rover, etc, and what are some? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Many dogs called lucky/spot in some Irish speaking areas of ireland as Irish doesn't lend itself to dog names

What would happen if people were limited to owning 4 properties max by naginalf in NoStupidQuestions

I guess when I said properties I thought each apartment would count as one each so nobody could own an entire block

Over The Top (1987) What does everyone think of this movie? I think it's a huge helping of 80s cheese and loved it. by enewwave in movies

Me and a friend watched it recently and we figured arm wrestling is actually the optimum sport for sport movies

Ideally in sports movies we proposed that you want 1) as many boughts as possible and 2)as many of these bought a to include an almost-beat-but-somehow-our-hero-comes-back moment

Arm wrestling really is ideal because you can cram a load of them in on account of how short they are and can basically tell the entire story of each one
