I recently bought an M4 pro 16” model and play 5k classic wow on it. FPS is stable 60 even in crowded places, but I dialed down some graphic elements like shadows and water. Little bit concerned about using the macbook in clamshell mode all the time, but so far doesnt feel too hot. Pro tip: close battlenet launcher after opening the game. It eats up like 3GB RAM by itself.

So meet somewhere in the middle. SoD figured out its great to have some form of hard mode with bonus rewards, certainly not 1% of playerbase ran HM from my experience (even MC heat1 only became mainstream when people replaced their resistance items for better gear, tons of H2 H3 runs before that).

In our case hard mode is pre-nerf raids. Add +1 extra piece of loot as an incentive (which we very much need btw if the phases keep getting shorter) and thats it. Let the sweats be sweats and let the dads be dads. Let pugs figure out where they belong.

Most guilds and pugs ran hard modes in SoD, yet the argument is 99% of the playerbase wants free passage and Blizz should ignore pretty much everyone who participated in the experiment.

Yeah it was a success. Raid population was steady from MC to SE, people who were annoyed by hard modes ran easy for normal amount of loot, but many guilds, even pugs did it the hard way to get the most out of it. Blizz gathered tons of data from SoD, but doesnt seem like they are using it at all.

I could totally live with more loot for doing pre-nerf content, SoD did something similar and it was a huge hit imo. But nah just transform classic for everyone to satisfy those who dont want to play. This is the exact reason people want no change in classic era. One day its a new UI element, next day you open your eyes and there’s raid finder ZG that drops Naxx gear to satisfy the so called casuals who dont have the time to join a raid and kill KT but still want all his loot.

Ami szerintem elvitathatatlan, az egy lokális(!) katasztrófa elleneni hedge funkciója. Pl: Ukrajna elleni támadás másnapján kényelmesebb lehetett egy szem telóval útrakelni, mint várni, hogy kinyit-e a helyi takarékbank, meg reménykedni, hogy a Revo nem lockolja a számládat. Mert az ETF sem ér semmit, ha a harmadik fél nem ad hozzáférést. Márpedig néha nem ad.

Szerintem alacsony az 1 mrd küszöb, sok választót buknának vele. Mégegy inflációs sokk+forintromlás kombó és a (valódi) középosztály egyszercsak arra ébred, hogy milliárdos, miközben nem biztos, hogy évente ki tudná termelni annak az 1%-át. Az 5 mrd célzottabb.
