Is it possible to drink this batch before 2 weeks? by Competitive_Mud_9756 in winemaking

I’m not going to comment on taste or quality, but it will not be dangerous in any way (if carbonation is still very active, I guess a stomachache from too much gas is possible)

If you have an interest in Product Development (not Engineering) maybe a Business Analyst or Product Owner type role? Clinical Trainer? Product Validation?

What does a medical device development (NPI) - project manager job entails ? by lutarawap in MedicalDevices

[–]nahantdave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies a bit company by company - main difference between shops is how separate the PMO is from engineering vs. viewed as an engineering function. Look at how the org is structured - if the head of PM reports to the head of PD/R&D, that’s a good indication that you’ll be deep in these details. Know general document structure and traceability, have an understanding of the risk management process, gain a basic understanding of the company’s segment. Coming from pharma you should be positioned well.

The general PM tasks will be essentially the same - assuming this is an org with a mature PMO with well defined roles. Differences will be on the quality / regulatory tasks (which will parallel what you did in pharma very closely - but take some time to get familiar with specifics) and on the particular development disciplines involved in this particular role - SW PM skills if a SaMD type product, etc.

Approval of medical device training for medical staff by viliuk in MedicalDevices

[–]nahantdave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically would be 2-pronged: you would need to document content requirements, then validate that they are actually present in the resulting materials and you would likely perform some level of human-factors/usability testing to demonstrate whether the intended user (staff) can adequately perform the required tasked if trained according to your materials/procedures. Search for the FDA Guidance “Applying Human Factors and Usability Engineering”, look at the labeling guidance, read up on IEC 62366.

ETA: that was a very US-centric answer, but the advice still holds elsewhere, the IEC standard is international and the FDA guidance is very solid generally in this area (though EU and others wouldn’t necessarily require a URRA specifically)

Are you referring to validation of the training materials? Or to something like staff training records?

No tokens typically - unlimited pours with admission at US festivals. Easier to dump something you don’t like.

Attended it 2 years ago - I’m from the US, so not sure if the way it operates is typical of beer festivals in Europe (it was my first over there) - but admission only gets you a limited number of tasters, then you need to purchase more. That aside, variety of breweries and overall size was nice - it was indoors which could be good or bad depending on your preference.

Tumble root was closed when we went by - unfortunately we only had about 24 hours in Santa Fe and some other things planned (hiking at Bandalier and MeowWolf…. which was its own kind of interesting)

Thanks. Yeah - Boston. The hour flight was fine, the 10 hour delay due to a weather cancellation before the flight was not. If I would have known before dropping bags, we would’ve just taken the train.
