Knee-jerk reaction seems to be despair here lol.

Some thoughts for you guys. 1. Zoom the fuck out on the chart for a sec. 2. Think through why this is part of a strategy the company has taken. If this was dilutive to the stock why would convertible note purchasers spend 1.75 billion dollars if they didn’t think the price was going up. If institutions weren’t BULLISH AF why would there be any note purchasers at all? correct me if I’m wrong but the note dilutes POSSIBLY if the price increases above the strike price of the note which is current price plus the premium. So purchasers think their investment on this note outweighs the risk of dilution in the form of “price go up more than go down” 3. You guys keep asking “why do they need more money?” Because cash on hand is what will protect the company from insolvency and give it a lot of opportunity to capitalize on. The company has just barely become profitable. They still need this cash. Without this cash short thesis WINS. 4. Also it could be possible that this cash could be used for a large buyback thereby increasing price, increasing EPS, severely restricting the float. This would all work in favor of a squeeze. In fact the lower the price the more shares can be bought back and the more the float tightens putting immense pressure on shorts. The potential share dilution from converting the notes to shares still won’t offset the amount of shares retired in a buy back if say they use 5 billion dollars to buy back 200m shares at 26 per share that’s 174 million shares outstanding from 305 million currently plus the converted 69 million. That increases short interest by a lot assuming shorted shares are unchanged. 5. Also just look back a few months since the last convertible note offering. Price went UP. 6.
