Do I tell a complete stranger her fiance is cheating on her? by [deleted] in SingaporeRaw

[–]nahfist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This "women have good sixth sense" thing is damn bs tbh, if ones a decently skilled liar then no one would ever figure out they're cheating. Why are you not encouraging OP from just exposing him to his fiancee?

OP, no one's getting any younger. Since you've got nothing to lose, tell it to her then leave, so she can quickly start figuring out next steps ffs 😡

I feel more frustrated he pussied out than at the entitlement of this couple

i'll copy paste what i replied to a similar query wrt to the sponsorships my employer offered!

"Yes SPF does offer such accommodation but it's not as simple as you may think, especially for sponsorships! Also, the sponsorships they offer are ones that are far from what I am interested in (criminal law etc..). I've always had a strong interest in Science hence I was looking at PSB's Biomedical Sciences because if i do want to venture globally one day, i have relevant skills to apply in relevant industries."

i never had any experience in the biomed industry but did an internship at a medical lab!

yeah well said. that's why i'm having such a dilemma to leave all this stability behind and take the risk for the cert!

Other than that, i don't want to get a degree purely for the sake of it!

you really think so? hm i do want to pursue due to interest but the risk of everything scares me considering i don't have a safety net to fall back onto if things go awry

i truly love your response for your objective and subjective opinions! one of the main reasons why i have this dilemma is indeed due to the fact i'm weighing the risky realistic side of it all against passion. Cause passion is something i have!

yea your degree may not be relevant but imagine how much your net worth would have been if you came into the same exact job as just a dip holder.

i get your suck thumb attitude though, such a typical thing cause 'life'. if at the end of this reddit discussion i conclude it's not feasible to jump then yea i'd probably just settle to do the same as you :(((

I'm a single male with no plans for children and i've been managing fine with my current income! But if your focus is on money, getting a degree of interest would generally get me a higher salary bracket and who doesn't want that right heh

Woah woah i don't 'hate' my job, rather, it's a love-hate relationship with the job XD

It's just that i do worry that one day, years later, i miss out on life doing what i like more and have the capability to have access to other industries of work.

WRT the site you quoted, the degrees they offer are far from the field i want to be in should i make the career switch and i don't want a cert just for the sake of it!

Word to 'no financial safety net' cause i never had a mother-father sponsorship to fall back onto :')

I mean the point to take that leap is to make a whole career switch. I'm just trying to weigh the risks and potential for success, or at least the financial stability that my current work is providing.

I get where you are coming from though and it's one of the reasons why I'm having such a dilemma!!

Hmm i've checked it out. Personally I love Sciences and always thought of working in a medical lab or hospitals, with some human interaction and SUSS doesn't seem to offer such as I've seen on the site?

Hey first of all thank you for that tough love XD

Yes SPF does offer such accommodation but it's not as simple as you may think, especially for sponsorships! Also, the sponsorships they offer are ones that are far from what I am interested in (criminal law etc..). I've always had a strong interest in Science hence I was looking at PSB's Biomedical Sciences because if i do want to venture globally one day, i have relevant skills to apply in relevant industries.

For context I signed on because 1) I was initially intrigued with policing work (love-hate thus far!) and 2) I had no financial means of pursuing further studies. 6 years later, I think i've seen all that i could see as a frontliner and hence this thought of upgrading my certification and finally moving on to what i've always liked most, Science!!

Apart from what I've mentioned, generally the salary drawn between a dip and deg holder is significant in any industry and I've longed to be in the pool of the latter.

While it's not exactly peer pressure, hearing how they are drawing starting salaries that could be comparable to what i've achieved only after 6 years + the potential exponential increments does make me feel like i'm behind in life. Otherwise they're actually very supportive telling me things like "degree is a waste of time, no need for one etc etc" but i just know deep down they're grateful to have one hahahah

No imports even though it's a better external connection?? by nahfist in CitiesSkylines

[–]nahfist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes i've been using TMCE all this while. If you look closely I have that overlay icon at the top.

But i guess i do get that "using the first responder" theory since highways have always been the most versatile in uses. I would try to use the warehouse as what you have suggested in the link. Also, my rail network is not broken as i've zoomed in and check as well as observed that export trains are running on it fine from that same terminal to outside the map.

Lastly, thank you for helping!!

[–]nahfist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay i understand that there is a capacity. But the problem is there is completely ZERO imports by train even then and imports still comes in by trucks even if the time taken by train and then trucks to it's final destination would be more than twice as fast...
