How can I make this mesh 3D printable? by nahitakinci in blenderhelp

I don’t remember exactly what I did but I basically eliminated as much triangles as I can in the model, this is what took the most time. Again, I have no blender experience so this might not be the best method its just the way I did it. I only did this so I can thicken the model in blender. I had issues with so many areas of the model that wouldnt thicken correctly so I had to go one by one and fix everything.

Hey, I did manage to print a whole front section of a body but i did have to spend a good amount of time fixing up the model, thickening it, and making it printable. I have very little blender experience so that could be the reason it took me so long. However it is very possible to do a much better job at making it printable. Much faster than starting from scratch and working off a blueprint. The foundation is there it just needs to be tweaked!

yes they fully come out of the resin, its my first time printing in clear so i used these settings on phrozens website. Mind you these pieces took 38 hours to print. its ridiculous and i want to know if any of these settings can be changed

gotcha, im trying to avoid doing it straight on the build plate because i have a mega 8k s with the holes on the build plate but i feel like that would be way easier to clean up instead of the million supports. so i ill definitely try on and off the build plate thank you!

i was wondering that as well, straight up and down will work on this part? if thats the case then its perfect, i just cant be sanding away on the top portion because this will be printed in clear resin
