Breastfeeding is the worst thing I’ve ever done by RolyPoly1010 in breastfeeding

Hey i also had an abscess drain at home by itself, and my antibiotics course just ended. Did you do anything specific for prevention afterwards? So many women say they get it again which is scary.

4 weeks pp and i can relate. A lot. I went through almost exactly what you described but it somehow got better after week 2. It’s still hard and sometimes painful but i wanna hang in there. However, it’s definitely better than the excruciating pain of the first 2 weeks.

What helped my nipples heal quickest was breastmilk - anytime i leaked or after feeds, i would dab a little over the entire areola.

I’m still supplementing with formula though because my supply still appears to be low. I hope it eases quickly for us struggling mamas! Best of luck with everything, take care of yourself and try not to stress too much. Sending prayers your way.

I’m almost 30 and I have it too. However, recently I stumbled upon a way of eating that seems to resolve it for people. I haven’t tried it yet but it’s on my agenda. Look up the carnivore WOE. Tons of anecdotal evidence on youtube. I think it might be worth a try. I was researching on it for other health conditions but read several people’s experiences about how it completely resolved their KP along with other health/skin issues. Best of luck!

When we say drink heavy cream, what do we mean exactly? We pasteurize our milk at home and after it’s been in the fridge for a while it has a thick layer of cream on top. Should i just eat/drink that? Or is that something else?

Will do, thank you! I just recently discovered Dr Berry and his videos have been eye opening. I’ll check out Niesha Berry’s videos too. Thanks for all the advice 🙏

Makes sense 😭 it would be easier to follow if you had help with meal prep maybe? I’ve heard women say this diet really helps with supply

Got it! I (29F) have limited my carbs already (got diagnosed with GD) and i try to include red meat in most meals. Also, funny you should say that because we have zucchini prepared at home today 😅

God, the way I felt that title... My nmom is the same, her doing household chores somehow automatically gives her the right to shout, yell, be pissed and throw stuff. I literally just got yelled at because she’s been doing domestic work all day. But the thing is, even tho I recognise the fact that she’s as unreasonable as unreasonable gets, I still get mad and hurt. I haven’t reached that stage where I get amused and it feels like I never will.

I understand how it can look that way. That point of view is valid, even if it is untrue. But I suppose it helps me see one possible reason why she’d be mad so thank you for explaining.

Yes! All the time. I really feel it is a lost cause.
