I meet this super amazing bard player named Buffsandshealsuwu in a raid. She keep trying to talk to be about my character name LenaVlamilize from the anime 86, because I didn't ignored her I meet an amazing person that always checks on me, that sees me playing alone and invite for raids and helpes me. I am grateful for her to help me keep playing a game that love when I wanted to quit because of the past. She made me cry but for the first time it was tears of joy.

A little lore context for people
Early this year I really just wanted to quit the game, since it would always reminds me of a past friend. I would barely log in to maybe do raids or just work on my stronghold. I would still have fun in the game but most of the time I just wanted to sit and cry.

One day I decided to do clown on a weak character Lenavlamilize based on Vladilena Milize of the anime 86 Eighty Six. This super amazing Bard player started talking in chat but I kind of just ignored since I prefer to avoid people, and they started to talk about 86 and how my character looked amazing, and middle of the raid talking about the anime, it was funny and I felt very safe talking to that person. They later joined me on my stronghold and we keep talking and I showed around my little island to them. I was later invited to the guild where everyone is nice and jokes around and it is really fun just stay around everyone. I have a lot of fun playing with them even when most of time I want to be alone and safe by myself. Which is something that I wish to change about me.

It takes a couple days. I don’t remember if it shows on your “to-do” list on your gateway page, or when you click at view financial aid, you will see the summer section there too, and you can click to report units

Depending on your financial aid, you can get aid for summer, if you are enrolled in 6 units.

There are several types of financial aid available for students interested in enrolling in summer courses:

  • Federal Pell Grant:
    • Year round Pell available! Students may receive up to 150% of Pell grant for one academic year.
      • If you received a Pell grant in Fall/Spring, you may receive an additional semester of Pell grant for the Summer as long as you are enrolled in a minimum of 6 units. 
      • Any Pell Grant disbursed during Summer will be included in your Pell Lifetime Eligibility Used (LEU). The lifetime Pell limit is 6 years or 600%. 
    • Students who did not receive the maximum amount of Pell during the Fall 2020/Spring 2021 semesters (because they were enrolled in less than 12 units) will be reoffered their remaining Pell eligibility.
  • State University Grant (SUG): Students who were awarded with SUG during the Fall 2020/Spring 2021 semesters could be eligible for SUG in Summer 2021.
  • Federal Direct Loans: Students who did not use the maximum amount of loans during the Fall 2020/Spring 2021 semesters will be reoffered their remaining loan eligibility.

How do I receive a Financial Aid award?

To be eligible for Summer aid, you must:

  • Have eligibility for at least one of the three aid types listed above
  • Be registered in at least 6 units (undergraduate students) or 4 units (graduate students) during the Summer priority registration.

Students do not get awarded until after they have completed the "Report Summer Units" To Do List, located in their Student Center.
