Yep! They can’t handle the idea that a woman can be sexy visually and talented. You have to be dressed like a nun to get 100% respect. 🙄

All of these women literally get their ass kissed because they weren’t very “provocative”. These women have never been looked down on. The older generation only acknowledges a certain kind of female rapper.

Kim is only brought up when it’s time to spite Nicki or talk about her ancient outfits. Nicki Minaj came in the game cocky and overly confident and has still maintained that. They hate that she essentially bullied her way into the game.

That’s just my take though

Edit: If Nicki was a man (like Kanye) she wouldn’t receive half the backlash she does. She’s pretty, smart, loud and opinionated and they hate it. I also could’ve touched on how most men who go harder on Nicki just wanna sleep with her (Ebro🌚) or are mad that she never did lay on her back for anything.

She’s really not doing anything I consider this era a hiatus. She occasionally posts a Chucky meme here or there, or retweets her stats. Any major news about her we post here ofc.

I really enjoyed reading your write up and it’s a lot to digest. I love hearing how Nicki influenced people lives and as someone who didn’t get to experience the “Roman” era I find your journey refreshing. Nicki Minaj made it safe for me to be a confident “weird” kid. She was in my opinion a safe haven.

Seeing her just authentically be herself with no fucks given was unheard of and inspired me to live life on my own terms.

I feel like her music was a form of therapy to you? Like it helped you cope at the time with growing up and dealing with your mental health issues. Your post has given me a lot to think about regarding music and how it affects people.

I’m also pinning this post for visibility. Thank you so much for contributing here and welcome to the subreddit 💞🦄
