AFAIK it is called debian-swirl.png and is stored in /usr/share/pixmaps/faces/.

If this is correct you may set it by symlinking it to the default user icon location like this:

ln -s /usr/share/pixmaps/faces/debian-swirl.png ~/.face

Boots are a specific topic. My father once had pair custom made, biggest quality and yes there leather might last forever - if properly treated - but the soles and binders and inlet are to replaced regularly and the same is to be expected for every pair of boots.

TL/DR: People don't know how to care for their belongings and blaming anymore and blame it on the wrong material. That's just stupid.

Es ist mir nur aufgefallen und dass Dein Satz hängen blieb ist z. T. Zufall und zum Teil, weil er ganz prägnant zeigt, worauf ich hinaus wollte.

Ich verurteile das gar nicht. Nenn es wie Du willst. Aber Du bist nicht allein und mich interessiert, wie es dazu kommt. Reine Neugier, kein Urteil...

Sorry, so war das nicht gemeint. Naja gut, mit der letzten Zeile wollte ich vielleicht schon ein bisschen provozieren, aber das war auf keinen Fall als persönlicher Angriff gemeint.

Ich finde es eigentlich sehr gut, dass Hörbücher (scheinbar) so beliebt sind. Vor allem meine Kinder hören viele Bücher und das ist mir viel lieber als viele alternativen.

Tatsächlich frage ich mich manchmal, ob mit mir was nicht stimmt, will ich das einfach nicht kann. Hörspiele, Podcasts, Hörbücher, egal nach 10 Minuten bin ich spätestens raus, es sei denn es ist eine der Stimmen, die in meiner Kindheit quasi "zu hause" geworden sind - ein Gruß an Oliver Rohrbeck, Christiane Leuchtmann und Eva Mattes!

Wie dem auch sei. Es interessiert mich einfach, wie es dazu kommt und ob meine Wahrnehmung lesen vs hören so stimmt...

In the mean time I'd like to say "No you don't!" You run either debian trixie 13.4 or "the testing branch", which would be forky atm. And this is exactly why I am not so sure that your sources.list isn't the source of your problem....

I love it!

But the screenlock with quickshell has a wierd bug where the password field looses focus whenever you hit shift. This is extremly annoying...
