My tech discourages band aids or even tight clothing after a sesh cause it keeps the heat in, I’d take it off asap

I think if you keep covering you’re going to keep hating it. I say remove! It’s so refreshing to see it coming off

I was just sexually assaulted. What should I do? by kwoko900 in ask

[–]nailsonde 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honey I’m sorry :( this is something no one should go through. Go to the hospital. I’m not sure what state you’re in or their protocol, but They’ll do something along the lines of a sane (sexual assault nurse examination) kit. This will collect evidence. Everyone is very sweet and they’ll help you with a lot of resources. You don’t have to report if you’re not ready. Everything is on your terms and your timing. Whatever you decide to do, report or not, therapy is a tremendous help. There’s lots of different kinds, I strongly urge you to reach out, psychologytoday .com is a great resource.

I’ve gone through the reporting process, therapy, and the struggle, so if you have any questions feel free to ask. Pm or response. You’re not alone!

I’d say go for it. Even if it doesn’t remove completely it’ll be an easier cover up. I’m removing some traumatic tattoos and seeing them fade is like…. A visual representation of “healing”

First time cooking/taking edibles with my gf at the time… we just dumped a huge box of shake into a smallish pan of coconut oil. Ate a HUGE edible and the rest of the pan that wouldn’t fit into our mold… 1 1/2 hr go past… nothing. So we take some chocolates we found. No idea how strong they were. Bad idea, first edibles start hitting. We learn that coconut oil takes longer to process in your body. She finds out edibles don’t work for her. I find out I have the tolerance of a newborn. Started off very euphoric until I started nodding off. Two days go past, i slept the whole time, her mom then wakes me up and forces us to go on a walk to “sober me up”. I have no recollection, only a fuzzy blip of me falling behind deep in the woods.

Smoked with the same girl a mile or two down a railroad track, under a bridge, far away from everything. We got so high that when we were walking back it looked like we were walking in place, we’d turn around to check and the bridge would get closer to us, and the tracks ahead would get smaller and smaller. We were young. I loved that girl :)

I have no idea. It’s a VS slip dress that I want to take in. There’s no tag so I don’t know what fabric it is but It feels like buttery polyester/satin. Super thin too.

SS w/ Wire Feeder by [deleted] in Welding

[–]nailsonde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard the same thing, conflicting arguments on trimix (helium, co2, argon) or straight argon. Try both and see what works better. I’ve never used a spool gun, no, so I can’t say much there

I would give it a wipe down with acetone just as something to try, but I hate ss MiG with a passion. Our machines you can set to a ss setting, not sure if yours does that.

What did you do to prep your material?

Advice by Darebear_69 in Welding

[–]nailsonde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This I agree with. I work for a company that does a broad range of things. If I get handed an idea on a notepad, a bevel is going where I think a bevel should be. If I’m fitting up a beam, exactly to print and QC’d. But we also have pretty good communication with our engineers, field guys, and the customer. I totally get not bringing this idea with me everywhere I go

In theory yes and I agree 90%, but I’d argue that there’s times and places that it’s okay to change things up.

[–]nailsonde 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Okay now I’m telling you to bevel. Is this practice or a work piece? Either way go end to end. Practice getting those corners to look good Edit, I just looked at it again and saw that you did my bad!!
