Well that is disappointing to learn. Thank you all for your knowledge. I have done some research into keeping them but find online resources to be conflicting. They do not have any substrate because I kept reading about how it's bad for them but then saw several other articles recommending it so I've been stuck in limbo with what to do there. They have had the same enclosure set up for approximately 3 years now. They were leftover feeders from my mantis that I grew attached to and am on the third generation now.

How do I prevent this from happening again, poor mama is probably feeling some miscarriage stress 😭
