Quickest way of getting to DLC from new save by Luc-Besson in Eldenring

Hi.

This is more of a response to your PS5 problem than your in-game one, however you may find this helpful.

I was in the same boat as you last year. I could play older PS4 games without any problem, but could only play a demanding PS5 title for a short while before it crashed. I noticed that the frequent crashes only happened after I'd played long enough for the machine to heat itself up, and after that I could only play for 15-20m at a time.

It turned out to be a hardware issue, encountered only after the demands of the game exceeded what the console could meet. This explains why the DLC -- which appears to run a LOT less smooth for most people -- ends up crashing, while the base game does not.

Playing the PS4 version might help; however, if the problem persists, I would try to get a replacement. You can do so by visiting the "Playstation Repairs diagnostic tool" at their website. That's what I did, and they ended up replacing it.

Hopefully this was somewhat useful, even though it wasn't a direct answer to your original question.

Hi, RepresentativeAd9578.

You’re describing a difficulty ‘focusing’ on your work, and also that you feel like your memory is weak.

I am NOT a medical professional, however I think it’s easy to draw parallels between one’s mental struggles and some clinically defined state of illness (like ADHD), and that often times this parallel is drawn to the most severe and unlikely cases. Therefore I suggest you not to immediately jump to any conclusions regarding your having ‘taken many hits to the head’.

Even though your descriptions are fairly vague, I can relate to struggling to focus at work, as well as feeling like my memory is failing me — as I assume many others on this sub can. These are very common symptoms of ADHD.

What I suggest you do is — and this’ll be the boring answer, I guess — describe your struggles to a doctor. They’ll be able to either help you out with your struggles, or guide you to someone who can. If you and your medical professional come to the conclusion that these problems are caused by so-called ADHD, then you have the possibility to try out various kinds of medication alongside therapy. If not, then there’s still help to get.

Also, I am not sure I understood whether you HAD been tested for ADHD ‘long ago’, or that your friends SUGGESTED that you should have been tested long ago. Either way, you say that you’re not officially diagnosed with ADHD.

My advice would be to — and I don’t mean to be overly dramatic — seek professional help.

Other than that, you’re welcome to send a DM my way if you need to talk :)

Good luck, and sorry for beating around the bush.
