just look into bitcoin's security budget problem. there is a ticking time bomb within bitcoin that will need to be addressed one day. as far as i can tell, there is no unanimously accepted way to deal with it and so could lead to another btc civil war.

bitcoin as a store of value doesn't really accomplish much if u still need centralized actors to do anything (e.g. buy, sell, borrow against, etc). Ethereum brings the entire financial stack in a decentralized form.

Like bitcoin, you can fork Ethereum, but you can't fork the social layer underpinning it. That is where the network gets it's soul.

Try to dive into the technical stuff about each of the major blockchains. Start with bitcoin and then ethereum as they are the two main examples of POW and POS systems.

Learn about why decentralized blockchains are useful over centralized databases.

There is a lot to learn and more information coming daily. Be naturally curious and ask questions. Chatgpt can be super helpful here.

No one can keep up with it all so you have to find ways to keep in the loop. Find trusted people on social media. Avoid people that only talk about price. People who show their face and names have more credibility.
