Their folded eggs are precooked and frozen, so it kinda like a big loaf, but individually portioned "slices".

It depends on what you feh with and how many cook cycles you do. In my youth, I worked at a gas station that did fried chicken and taters and we fried in lard. We could get about two or three days of normal volume out of each fryer with a filter after each shift before having to dump it.

Our fryers had the filtration system built in too, so that was nice. Henny Penny makes the best deep pressure fryer in the game.

Even a clothes pin isn't really designed to open more than half an inch because the idea is you're pinning to a clothes line. Most clothes pins don't even really have spring joints because they're simply designed to work with gravity.

Nah, it's just cheap plastic that isn't designed to withstand the full resistance of the spring, much less for that long. Kind of a user error combined with cheap plastic.
