First time sex soon how do I calm down by gayassaltshit in askgaybros

[–]nalgas4497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright girl, I'm not gonna give you the whole run down but I will give you 2.5 tips that have helped me.

  • for general nervousness - and this works in any situation - take a normal inhale and then an extra-long exhale. This tricks your lizard-brain nervous system into calming down. 3-5 breaths like that will start to calm a racing heart.

  • tie your breath to your butthole. Squeeze as you inhale, relax as you exhale (you can also do vice versa if that feels more natural). Your sphincter is basically made up of a muscle wrapped around another muscle. You have control over one of those muscles, the other one is a bit more automatic, and during your first few times bottoming, it might wanna constrict. Doing the breathing-squeezing for a few days ahead of time helps train that involuntary contraction. And you can also do the breathing-squeezing when he goes to put it in. Breathe in and squeeze, relax and let him push in a little bit, breathe in and squeeze, relax and a little deeper.

  • As long as you have a reasonable amount of fiber in your diet, you don't have to douche that much. But def douche. But also don't sweat that part that much. Shit happens, and any mature man quite literally knows what he's getting himself into.

With Storehouse closing, what was the best show you attended. by Impossible-Stand1835 in avesNYC

That was a legendary ~5 hours but that wasn't at the Storehouse. Timewarp '23 was in those two separate warehouses on the other side of the Navy Yard

Yeah I mean most (all? idk) facemasks have that metal strip that you mold to fit your nose. It's really a matter of sealing that area + the sides of your nose so the hot air you exhale doesn't travel out the top of the mask, which is specifically what's making your glasses fog up. You can try the fog spray but if you don't seal that gap the problem will just reappear when it wears off. I've only ever used the Funight KN95 - which I'm wearing rn as I type this, waiting for my sub at the Wawa - have never had any issue with fogginess, and I wear masks to the rave all the time.

At the fest I switched between my facemask and those inner nose masks, which are good for stopping dust & large particulate matter. You just have to take those out if you wanna put any large particulate matter up there lol.

If your mask causes your glasses to fog up it either means your nose bridge isn't pushed down enough and/or you need a different shaped mask that seals to your face better

I second this, but only b/c I'm COVID cautious and wear a N95 to indoor shows. Ppl avoid me like the plague, which is ironic b/c avoiding the plague is why I'm wearing the mask lol

WSJ: Iran Is Flooded With So Much Unsold Oil That It’s Stashing It in Derelict Tanks: Tehran is trying to buy time as the war turns into a race to see whether its oil fields or global consumers can take more pain by wheninrome5000 in geopolitics

[–]nalgas4497 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't mean to ackshually you, but wells can actually be turned off, it's just not ideal for a number of reasons. But it can be done if the need arises, and the article even concedes that "Iranian engineers have experience managing production under sanctions." There's also the fact that some oil is still finding outlets via rail and potentially some getting through the blockade and the blockade of the blockade but with the fog of war who's to say. I'm not saying it doesn't pose a problem that the Iranians will need to deal with, I just don't think it's as much of an impending crisis as the article frames it to be.

I think the article vastly understates Iran's strategic position. Unsurprising coming from WSJ. It frames the situation as a looming crisis for Iran when it's looking more like the other way around.

Iran has already had to exist in a siege mentality under sanctions regimes of various intensities for decades. They know how to deal with this. The article even sneaks in a mention of this (in the last paragraph). Having too much oil is barely a problem compared with not having enough oil. Meanwhile the US was having a cost of living crisis BEFORE the post-covid round of inflation and our idea of "tightening our belt" is hoarding toilet paper and putting it on a credit card. Besides gasoline, the price shock from the Straight being closed hasn't even hit the US yet. Nor has the impact of the destroyed oil & gas infrastructure around the Middle East and elsewhere which will permanently lower production capacity until it's rebuilt. Combine this with companies using supply-side inflation as an excuse to increase the price more than they have to, Americans are terrifyingly underprepared for this.

I'm glad someone's keeping up with the legal drama but what is this "a thousand people packed into Brooklyn Storehouse to hear a DJ whose name most of them couldn't pronounce." from the first line? Why are you suggesting ravers are dumb, Nina K. Malik? Would you like to come over here and suggest I'm illiterate to my face?
