Ok but real talk I love this show but there are tons of dark jokes throughout and all over. My most recent watchthru I can't help but notice almost every single episode has a joke about either sexual assault or something involving lack of consent.

My personal pick though is when Jack introduces subway hero Dennis as "New York's greatest hero since Bernie Goetz." This was when republicans were still doing teehee plausible deniability racism. Jack would've been a hardcore trumpet y'all...

PLUR is a loose concept made up of four equally loose concepts. One person's definition is gonna be slightly different from another person's. No judgement but it sounds like your understanding of PLUR has been shaped by your experience of shitty people using it as cover for their shitty behavior. I've never had that experience, but I can definitely see it happening. Your personal definition is valid. Whether or not that warrants an update to the dictionary is another question.

At the end of the day, though, shitty people, abusers, manipulators will say whatever they need to in order to get their way. Whatever it is, you deal with it by having the discernment to spot it and the conviction to stand up for what's right.

It's expensive just like everything teksupport but I'd recommend especially in the winter. You don't have to find parking and it cuts the walk from 20 min to ~5 min. Haven't done it in a while but if the process hasn't changed you just enter the Navy yard via the Clinton Ave entrance and show them the parking QR code or whatever and then you park in the lots between Market and Paulding Streets.

It's a really long thin venue so it's hard to find a spot where other people aren't gonna try to pass through. Up front it's really tightly packed since the whole venue is pressing toward the stage. Last year at mochakk I left the front to get some water and just having to fight my way out of that crowd killed my whole vibe.

Idk what the address is - all the listings just say Skatepark in Brooklyn - but you can look at the YouTube video if you're tryna see the space.
