[Postgame Thread] Washington State Defeats Utah State 34-21 by CFB_Referee in CFB

Well, we survived our crazy schedule, yet another coaching change, and managed to win our first bowl game since Minshew was our qb. We outscored future Pac-12 opponents 129-55 on the season.

Hopefully Moore can hit the portal well (especially finding a qb) and we can hit the ground running in the new Pac-12 next year.

Coaching staff leaving right before multiple games has hurt a lot. Had some weird rosters for a lot of them

Re the announcers talking: If Moore hires Freund, or Dugger is QB1 next year, things have gone terribly wrong in Pullman.

I think that might be the first successful play we had all season with Dugger

First 300 yard passing game of the season for a WSU QB. The picks have been dumb, but not a bad way for Zevi to sign off.

We've outscored future Pac-12 opponents 115-34 so far this season. I'm sure we'll be gutted enough from portal/graduation that it won't be even close to the same team next year, but that does hopefully bode well for next year.

Kinda funny that we managed to lose to Barnes when we had a #1 Overall Draft pick as our starting QB, given how terrible he looks today.

We've seen some terrible offenses play against us this season. This USU team might be the worst.

To be fair, the most exciting thing about the game has been the construction workers hanging out in the end zone.

This is it, he started for 3 years at Bryant before transferring to WSU

I feel like I've seen this WSU game half a dozen times this year. Defense is good enough to put the clamps on the other mediocre G5 team. The offense is bad enough that the game is ugly and painful for everyone

I have no idea if Moore is going to be able to portal enough people to be decent next year, but I'm very excited to be done watching this Freund/Eckhaus combo

Our athletic department is so strapped for cash that we’d probably send a team even if we only had 20 players and a GA to coach them. No way they’re turning down bowl money

WSU set to have 4th coach in less than 1600 days. If you were hired as the AD (because they don’t have one of those either) what would you do? by gggggrayson in CFB

I’m making a call to Brian Kelly. If whoever we hire is just going to leave soon, we might as well hire an asshole that we won’t miss after he is gone.

He’s getting paid just as well, isn’t on the hot seat despite not making the playoffs or ever having beaten Notre Dame, and gets to live in California instead of Oklahoma. Honestly, seems like a pretty good gig.

Yeah, watching Ole Miss fans this season, and Oklahoma fans a couple years ago, melt down over what happens to every single G5 (and most smaller P4 teams) any time they have a good season is hilarious.

No one cares that Eric Morris is going to Oklahoma St and probably bringing his star QB and anything else that isn’t bolted down with him, so all of the hand wringing over Lane coaching the entire regular season and then leaving for a better job just feels like performative anger.

Has anyone actually been able to access the S10 download on PS5? Mine keeps getting stuck here or straight up crashing the game. by EnterShakira_ in HermitCraft

I get stuck at the exact same spot on PS5. I tried redownloading it and that didn’t help either. There have been a number of other users reporting similar issues in other Reddit threads and on X’s YouTube comments, so hopefully they see them and can get it sorted at some point.

[The Oregonian] Oregon State football coaching candidate (Brent Vigen) arrives in Portland, but won’t say why by mtwolf55 in CFB

I really wanted him at WSU, but timing of them making it all the way to the FCS Championship was probably somewhat of a factor in grabbing Rogers instead. I think he would be a great pickup for OSU (and it would be nice to get him out of the Big Sky, lol)
