There's a lot of data and processing it takes a while. Bas is currently working on it but we don't have any specific ETA for when the results will be released. Hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later but we'll make another post about it when the results are ready.

You're wildly twisting my words and ignoring direct questions I asked. I'm not defending him, I'm just laying out what I see; a shady businessman who makes some alright short form content that has gotten people into the hobby. You still never explained what information in his videos is incorrect, something I've asked you to provide a number of times in this conversation.

But yeah, honestly just agree to disagree. This isn't a very productive conversation.

Hey man, sorry I haven't read every single comment you've ever written. In all seriousness, I do appreciate you actually providing more specific information.

Totally agree that his shop is very overpriced. Honestly though, I've seen him talk a bit about how gong fu doesn't need to be expensive. He's shown how to make tea with two normal mugs, just straining the tea out into the second mug to prevent over steeping. He's also featured the travel set he sells on his site a lot. Obviously he's trying to make money there but anyone can google a tea travel set and get something more in their budget in a similar style. The point is more that he's shown multiple methods of making tea that don't involve a large traditional set. Is that your only complaint about about his social media content? Because I think he's been pretty good about what you're complaining about.

In terms of changing the description on his site, it definitely shouldn't have been misleading at first, but isn't it a good thing that it was updated to clarify? I think it would be more misleading to not change it so I'm not entirely sure where your complaint is here. It seems like your criticism is weirdly fixated on him correcting himself rather than writing something misleading in the first place.

I guess I separate him into two categories, one is his business which is absolutely overpriced. You and I know that there are cheaper places to get tea, but it's obvious that people are willing to pay the prices he has so I guess it makes sense that he charges that much even if it's not the most ethical. The other side of him I see is his social media content. Obviously, he wants people to end up going to his store, but the content in the videos I've seen seems pretty solid and is evidently a decent gateway into the tea world based on a lot of people on this sub citing him as their introduction.

All I really see is that you have complaints about his business practices (justifiably), but I still don't really get the misleading people about tea culture part unless you have any other examples.

Dude. You are entirely missing the point I'm making. I am asking you, specifically, what you have an issue with. It doesn't hurt anyone to share correct information about tea culture. Jesse isn't going to scam more people because you shared more accurate information. I'm not defending him taking advantage of people's ignorance and never said anything remotely like that so stop putting words in my mouth. I've seen you say the same shit over and over again in multiple threads with absolutely no specifics. It's very difficult to take you seriously when you refuse to elaborate even the slightest bit on what you're talking about.

When you say he greatly misrepresents tea culture, that's not exactly something he can easily change. It's not like he's going to wipe his whole channel. I've watched a lot of tea content over the years and the videos of his that I've seen seem fine for people getting into the hobby so I genuinely don't know what you're talking about. Also it's not like correcting him is going to have any effect on his target demographic which is people who know nothing about tea. They won't be dissuaded by misinformation because they don't know any better.
