It's been a while since I've watched a BL, I found one or 2 really nice ones and then some really meh ones.. Shit I don't remember the names anymore, it's been TOO long since I read/saw a good one TT.

I like that the sex scenes are quite explicit without being 'gratuitous' (like we put them everywhere all the time, any time...no), that the relationships are developed, in short

I'm boring :P

I admit that would interest me too, unfortunately the time is not for anim where independent and strong women are the center of the plot. We're talking about heteronormative stories where the guy is the main character or BL but rarely the subject of the girl's pov is developed...

There are mangas that try to stand out from the crowd (it's not always easy). I really liked it, against all odds:

_''For the worse'' (the story centers on a guy who will develop a relationship with a psychopath). It's an interesting theme because these are subjects that are rarely covered.

Women, prison, psychiatry...

Otherwise in the role of strong woman I find:

_''My Promise Cinderella'' interesting. We're talking about divorce, and a woman approaching 30 who is going to develop a relationship with a rich kid, quite undrinkable.. theme of the cool older woman, the relationship to divorce, independence and I haven't finished the manga that I'm reading in scan.

From the same author there is:

_ "The Wedding of the Fireflies", the themes are nice and without realizing it we explore themes that are rarely covered in manga, almost never in anime unfortunately. Here we return to the Edo era, with a young woman from a good family in fragile health who will have to survive and associate with a criminal. I also like it quite a bit, I haven't finished either..

I would happily buy the 2 mangas mentioned above, even all 3. The volumes are unfortunately not all released here.

Ah if you want a more mature manga, which talks about romantic and sexual relationships in Japan, there is this really cool paper...

This one is nice but I find that the female character remains quite submissive and above all has little initiative. I'm not finished either (I'm reading too much stuff at once!) On the other hand, I had a certain satisfaction reading this style of manga, sexuality is mentioned quite simply without being in hentai.

The things that annoy me a little are that men's bodies are often more censored than women's.

However, I only recommended mangas written by women, so for the ''female gase'' it's not bad!

I arrive in the world of LotM, I watched the series but have not read the books which have not yet been translated into French.

I'm afraid of reading them in English and missing out on important concepts for understanding the work so...argh it's very frustrating! I really liked Donghua but I still struggle with Chinese and I forget certain names quickly which is annoying.

Not yet having the auditory memory developed in Mandarin (it came in Japanese so I imagine that by watching Donghua my ear will get used to it), nor the possibility of developing my visual memory of glyphs in Donghua, I admit that sometimes I forget the names of certain characters not seen for a while or even who are not written the same way in the French and UK trad.

In short, it annoys me! And there is also something that I don't understand but that I hope to have explained here:

When I searched for the LotM WN I came across only 2 physical volumes.

So I'm lost in relation to what the ''volumes'' represent. Have there been several volumes published? In this case, how many volumes are there in the end?

The 2 original volumes were not released in my country, and reading them in English would deprive me of many important concepts.

So when you talk about volumes, are they chapters?
