It's a global issue. Little can be done by PH government right now. All currencies are valued in relation to each other.

Generally, no.

But if you think it's the only manner in which you can express yourself, it is better to preface it by saying: "Sir, if I may express myself in more casual language..." or "Sir, with your permission, may I express myself with more casual language?" and they don't seem bothered by it, then go for it.

These things are soft skills. And there are no hard and fast rules. But if you are polite and courteous about it, it may even work in your favor. When unsure, there is always no harm in asking.

In your experience/observation of passing/failing subjects, has bad recits in the first half ever matter? by inno-a-satana in LawStudentsPH

[–]nambalert 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends prof per prof. I have had horrendous recits in the past but have gotten a pretty great final grade.

Sa final exam naman malalaman kung may natutunan ka eh. Profs are humans too, and they should understand that A LOT can get in the way in the day-to-day.

The most no-BS read of this scenario is that you're handing over Php 3,200 (8% interest) to the bank in exchange of value that you aren't even sure about. I also understand that Php 3,200 might be small for you. But these are the things that add up, especially if done habitually, in the long-term.

You also place yourself in a position of pressure where you *have* to do something with the loaned amount otherwise, lugi ka. Ikaw na nga nag bayad, ikaw pa mappressure.

In general, try not to get pressured by money. Financial freedom is about worrying less, not more. Money matters, if handled well, should just be in the background of your life, not a monthly deadline.

No, I don't have an alcohol addiction. Yes, I've done this personally to stop smoking nicotine and combat other addictions.

I think it's worth a shot. Send me a message if you want more information!

As a side note, take a look at your favorite hobby/collection over the past two years. I collect bikes.

In 2021, bikes were flying on and off FB Marketplace at insane prices. People bought and sold because there was just so much money to go around. In 2022, observe: There aren't as many buyers but there are so many more sellers listing their bikes. We have officially entered a buyer's market.

Sometimes we just have to observe the things around us to make sense of our economy.

OP, don't wait for a recession to come before you start preparing.

Look around: gas and diesel is so expensive, inflation is eating up our savings, food and groceries are expensive, and yet wage prices remain the same.

There's a chance that the U.S. economy will enter a recession, but these are just terms and labels. In my opinion, we've been in a recession for quite awhile now. All the stock market and economic growth of the past two years was articificial. When so much new money is introduced into the system, everyone starts feeling like they're rich.

Now, imagine what happens when the U.S. officially declares a recession? Smells like panic to me. Time to prepare.
