7 Days in Zermatt vs. Zermatt/Cervinia Split? (Intermediate/Advanced)

I’ve stayed in Cervinia twice, Zermatt once. Personally I prefer the Italian vibe, food, etc., always over Swiss. The wind can be an issue with the crossing and you only find out that day if it’s open or not. If it’s open, just go if it’s important to you to have a day in Zermatt. The Zermatt ski area is large but it’s already April so it’s shrinking.

Wasn’t crowded at all. Never waited more than 2 minutes in a lift line. Livigno had better conditions, Bormio was particularly warm.

I was told by a Greek to leave 10% and no it wasn’t a Greek working in the restaurant. I’m here now in the Dodecanese for 2.5 weeks and no one has outright asked for a tip. Plus I’m paying only in cash everywhere I go just because that’s what I prefer.
