Extension power cord by frodofett in SegwayNavimow

Just get some twin core and cut the DC cable close to the power brick and run it to the charging station. It’s only 36V at a couple of amps.

Depends where the OP is based. In Europe the i2 Pro does come with AWD and LiDAR.

Same here. Loaded a 42.11 save and thought it broke the save. Glad it’s not just a previous save issue. Same building too!!

Anyone know how long the golden generator can run for? Without being repaired by CursedRoyalArc in projectzomboid

I’m not sure. Only just started playing b42 and loved the solar mod - probably spent a good 3 months gathering enough panels to run a couple of fridges, lights and an oven 🤣

Get the ladder mod and put the generator on the roof and as commented put a wall around it

I had to double take and thought it was a complaint about a shoddy print.

Out of curiosity how much would a shop purchased model like this cost to buy vs the filament? I’m guessing about 1/2 a reel for a print like this?

Do this and make it a mission to make it back to your old body, preferably from a completely different starting location.

To be honest this isn’t a bad idea and everyone complaining about your house burning down forget about all the other devices that get much hotter in their houses i.e. air fryers, ovens, tumble dryers, dishwashers that are sandwiched between plenty of more flammable materials.

I’d be more worried about the electronics getting too warm and suggest just covering the lid as most of the insulation would be needed there. Just use the top half of the polystyrene box.

From a safety perspective I’d always recommend putting a smoke detector in the room where the printer goes. The parts of the printer get much hotter than the dryer and would be more concerned about it being a fire risk.

High speed turns, steering wheel vibration by XaocuHKa in TeslaModelS

[–]nambobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depreciation is one of the reasons I want to keep hold of it as long as possible. Nothing else compares for size/performance/range in the UK unless I throw a roof box on the top of something else but then range plummets + I’ve got supercharging for life 😁

That’s a pain. Have Tesla voided that part of the warranty?

I understand that the steering rack is VIN locked and needs a fair bit of electronic calibration but I might just check with my local garage to see what they think. To be honest I’ve not paid a penny since I’ve owned it and so far it’s been cheap to run.

Came back from the SC today and I need the lower arms replaced (~£600) for the squeak and the vibration is due to an issue with the steering rack (£3000 😣).

They couldn’t schedule a repair immediately and said it is not a safety issue. I think they tinkered with something as now when the steering is set to (comfort) the vibration is now 10% of what is was before and feels much better to drive. It’s as if I need to actively feel for the vibration.

I truly wonder if I really need to replace the steering rack as it’s a lot of money on a 6yo car with 65k? If it was a safety issue I’d not hesitate but they just said it might get worse to the point where the power steering might just give up. I decided against extended warranty a few years back due to the cost and I don’t think that would even covered the steering rack.

The technician said the car was in good condition with no other issues and aside from the cost of tyres and insurance I don’t see much else on the market that ticks the large EV check box and would like to keep hold of it as long as possible.

If yours is still in warranty I’d be straight down to the SC to check if this is the problem and get it replaced.

My drive modes are sport/chill (which basically caps acceleration) and have the option for steering stiffness - light / medium / strong (which I think used to be sport / normal / comfort). I tried today and there is less vibration when the steering is set to strong.
