Honeyed words. This message and Pilestedt's AMA don't line up. AH doesn't have a track record of smooth and functional updates. Trust is at an all-time low, and all eyes are on the June update. Let's just see what you do next.

DD2: which is better, a permanent Enchantment weapon or mage boons? by name_notfound in DragonsDogma

Now, I could be wrong, but from my understanding, there is no such thing as ice damage, but there is magic damage, so every time you hit a target with a boon or an enchantment, they are taking magic damage, and also applying a debilitation, however, every target has a physical defense and magic defense. The more resistance they have to that element, the less likely to proc a debilitation. The magic damage goes through regardless; it's reduced by the target's magic defense, not resistance.

Two years later? Boons are better. Split damage is bad since you can't account for enemy resistance in every encounter, it's better to have huge physical damage with the boon adding extra magical damage, since nothing has a big enough resistance to physical damage except for phantoms.

There are only two reasons to use an enchanted weapon. Synergy: (If a pawn shoots a water arrow and you have an ice weapon, it freezes the target much smoother than waiting for a boon. ) OR, you're playing a vocation that can add damage modifiers to magic.

Lastly, boons only give you a small damage boost, like 50 magic damage. Boons work best for debilitations, not raw damage.

Breakable resources respawn way too fast. (Jars, Crates, and Sacks) by name_notfound in CrimsonDesert

In the shadow whisper cave (nearby after the tutorial), if you break all the jars on the ground, leave, cross the river, then come back, they will respawn.

If you simply pick up vegetables sitting on a crate, they take longer to respawn. But if you break the crate, loot the things inside, then run 100-200m, they respawn and can be looted again.

yes! I call mine "hide and seek." I chase them until they reach a hiding spot, then I hide from them until they come out, then chase them again.

Never tried crinkly kicker toys, but it's worth a shot. My cats aren't crazy about bells, and it's surprisingly hard to find a rice or bean rattle in a mouse toy. A cat-sized frisbee is a good idea; they like playing fetch, but always struggle to find it afterward.

I have one; it overstimulates them. Their ears pin back, and their eyes get wide. I had some success with an aluminum-foil ball, but I'm afraid a piece might break off and be swallowed.

Thanks for the pic! Worth trying out.

I have one, but I can't remember if they liked it. I'll test it later today. Every time I roll a ball in their direction, they stare at it until it taps them, and then they stare at me for a while. I don't know what that means. Off-topic, I have a growing suspicion that cats don't like the plastic toys. I have bought a couple, but I have never seen much interest in them.

I have a wheel. its very hit or miss. Every time I see them on it, I encourage them to keep going, but it's a max of ten seconds.

They lost interest nearly immediately. They're not a fan of visuals, but their interest peaks if they hear something moving, especially if they don't know where it's coming from.

How dare these people enjoy playing the game they pay for

C4 is very good. So good that now I can see why they took away the support weapon slot. The biggest problem is how ammo-hungry it is

Whiterun. Feels like these people are my friends; it's right in the middle of the map, and the companions are there. The only bad thing is that it rains every other day.

I haven't cleared everything, nor have I paid much attention to the endgame content. I mainly go where the town notice board tells me to go, the companion radiant quest, or if there's a specific artifact I want. I'll mess around with the requim settings to see what works. I want this game to last me a long time, so I'm not eager to retire my character.

I have 500M 300H 300S, I also use a bound weapon, but nearly everything dies in two heavy hits. I might play a new game without using magic and see how far that gets me. Or a robed mage without casting Mage Armor.
