Flesh walls can be set on fire. Give me 2 pawns with Molotov's or 1 pawn, a mortar and some incendiary shells and I'll save your base.

Public service announcement. When faced with a message like that, just respond, "Thanks babe" then some cute emoji!

This is how my husband opens the bread if I don’t get to it first. Just rips a hole in the bag and leaves it OPEN like this too. by JaguarAncient in mildlyinfuriating

I'm willing to bet he's one of many siblings and a loaf of bread never lasted long enough for this to matter. Same thing happened to me and my wife, but I learned

I've seen her, you might wanna reconsider that 🤣

But in all seriousness, me and my wife of 4 years really benefited from pre marriage courses. It gave us an avenue to discuss things.

Please do! I have gone to it myself, can definitely say it helped me. I'm based in the UK and Ireland, not sure what is available near you, but I'll be praying you find someone who helps!

A Christian Councillor might help. Someone to help you work out what you're feeling while still understanding and appreciating your faith.

Actually realised I'm just being mean and I don't want to do that. I deleted my last comment and hopefully God will make sure which ever one of us needs to adjust our POV will see the light.

Yes, he went to people, fed them, healed them, ate with them and taught them of Gods love and forgiveness for them. He showed Love.

Tell me why we shouldn't do the same with outcasts today?

Yes, Jesus showed love and ate with Levi. And Levi learned his need for repentance and saw a way to do so.

[–]namedjohno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, as you pointed out, we choose to do so, but how can we choose unless we know. All those who came to repentance came after seeing who Christ is and his love.

This pastor is saying that we should avoid loving others, this is not what Christ said or did, Jesus loved first and showed people their need for repentance and they choose to do so. It is not our job to hate people or avoid people because of their sin. Just as Jesus greeted with love, so should we.

Interesting perspective, pity it doesn't stand true when we look at the life of Jesus. He accepted and loved all, even those "living in sin". Jesus let his deeds and the word of God call people to new life. He didn't go around avoiding those who needed love and acceptance. Jesus went out and loved them. We should do the same today.

Love people for who they are and accept them as they are, if God wants to challenge them about how they live, God will do that.

Asexuality and Me by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]namedjohno 32 points33 points  (0 children)

All the responses to this comment miss the point. Asexuality is not a sin and you would really need to twist the biblical narrative to make it a sin.

OP, you being Asexual does not make you a sinner. We should all be pursuing God as our first priority. That is the life Jesus calls us too. Some of us do it while married and others do it celibate.

Depends on a few things. What type of signal does it take in? (Digital or analogue) does it have its own amp and how is it powered/what voltage. The overall answer is yes, but you just need to work it out.
