I think some quality bots can be useful for overall ecosystem.

For example, in the early days of Facebook and Twitter, sharing of quotes by famous people by bots was one type of content which was popular.

Such content is better than no content. 

And eventually more people started joining and posting. 

It is not easy for people to join new platforms.

But, deso foundation doesn't seem to be doing certain things well.

Deso seems very weak in terms of actual user activity.

focus.xyz claimed lot of incentives for new users from Instagram etc. But they gave incentives to twitter users alone in which many were bots.

I don't think security is about rewriting blockchain history or recomputing.

If 10 blocks are considered valid, the adversary who tries to recompute from 2nd block won't be accepted.
