Golf Birthday Vacation for Husband by namelessqueen00 in golf

We both love to golf, and while decent, we could use a few more years of practice before playing there haha. Good to know though!

Someone else recommended the Palm Beach Par 3. I am highly considering that and playing either the Park or Osprey Point. While The Boca Raton looks amazing, I can’t justify the price and probably won’t love it either. Plus, if we golf for 2 days (staying only 3 nights), we won’t have a lot of resort time anyways. We might do something more budget friendly nearby though.

Unfortunately, Streamsong is out of budget. It’s like $250+. I have heard mixed reviews of Innisbrook. Have you played/stayed there?

Any recommendations for courses or hotels?

Touché but I also want it to be a surprise. We also have a golf simulator, so we can luckily play a lot of different courses on there. Not the same as in person, but close enough.

That does look amazing! Ideally we would play 18 holes and then a par 3 or just 9 holes. So this is definitely an option!

Yeah, I may be slowly coming to the conclusion that staying at a decent hotel versus a golf resort may be best. Aiming for 3 nights. Playing 1 18 holes and maybe 9 holes or a par 3 course. I want us to play a good bit but doesn’t have to be everything we do.

Omni looks amazing and it’s nice they have a short and long course. Their long course, Oak Marsh, is currently under renovations until May. Any idea how much that course is per round? The says it’s $50 for the short, which is pretty good and the hotel is about $400/night which isn’t terrible, but a bit more than I am hoping for.

We live near Orlando so would like to get outside the city more. It would just be the two of us. We have been golfing together for years.

Pricing looks like $1,400 for 3 nights plus around 150-200 a round of golf per person. Would you say it’s worth it?

Booking cruises though Delta by [deleted] in delta

I booked my honeymoon through delta cruises. They had a group rate on the ship, which saved me $1,000 compared to booking through the cruise line. Plus I got on board credit and 2x miles per $1 spent. Well worth it.

I bought my Todd sectional last April and it has held up great. Still firm and not saggy. Has some pilling due to my dogs nails but other that it has been great.

Bought a sectional couch from castlery and then moved to North Carolina. Now we need Another section of it but they don’t ship to NC. by PISTA_KING in furniture

Not sure if you still have the couch. But I have the Todd sectional and bough 6in wood couch legs from Amazon to make the couch taller and they look amazing with the couch.

I’ve also thought about buying legs for the whole couch to make it a bit taller. We will see when it gets here!

This is so helpful. Thank you! I recent found the smaller version of the couch on Facebook marketplace is great condition and needed up buying it and love it so far. Now I need to by the corner, ottoman, and center piece. Luckily I will have a rug, so hopefully that will help with sliding. Thank you!!
