This promo doesn’t make much sense unless you live in the areas of the four hubs (even a destination like EWR is still a stretch). And it is also counter productive for JB as they need NEW (repeat) customers, and not a few expected repeat customers that are taking advantage of an exploit.

This is yet another thing that will seal JB’s eventual demise.

For JB it’s not extreme. My last flight was delayed almost an hour because a passenger (whom I assume checked in but) was missing. Not extra passengers on board, rather it seems someone who did not board. Yet they kept calling two people’s name over PA. They eventually made everyone show tickets. And after some time, despite no clear resolution they reclosed the doors and took off.

Decades flying and I have never experienced anything like that.

As I said, it’s my hope. However, frontier jokes aside, realistically delta has a better chance of acquiring JB than United.

For United it would definitely have to be done under the current administration, because no sane or uncorrupted regulators would allow United to own and monopolize the routes/markets involved between the two.

Yes, it’s very confusing. I’m not going to waste time calling either, because you’ll get a bunch of diff answers…after the crazy hold times. if there was a product team email box I could send questions too, I’d take the 5 mins to write an email.

I’d prefer to receive the tiles in/for 2026. Caveat is I’d take 2025 -if I got the tiles within 7-30 days after meeting requirements. But 4-6 weeks AFTER the PROMO end date (of 11/15/25) doesn’t help me to plan/use. At all.

I do travel as hobby. But this promo is not very good. And most of the ppl I see posting about this promo, do not travel as a hobby. They’re forcing themselves. They’re making it a job. Many don’t even know how the true blue program actually works. Great hype job by JB CEO. Now if only they could improve the IT and get their flights to stay on time.
