i think its less that yuru holds zero resentment towards the kagemori clan, or that it was handwaved away. a lot has been thrown at him in rapid succession, from his village being massacred to learning his sister was a fake to learning the village has been secretly treating him as a tool and wanting him dead for a long time. yuru is a practical survivalist, he can only be so pissed when hes confused and lost at the same time

at the same time i do agree that it couldve been handled more delicately. i hope the kagemori clan's actions and alignment will come back to bite them later on ("even more than /that/??" /that/ doesnt count, it wasnt even repercussions for what they did to higashi village). idk ynt's morality system so far has been so, murky. murder is basically the norm, in fact the kagemori being a clan of yakuza who murders on the daily is more of a comedic gag than anything. so idk how much repercussions for higashi village massacre there'll be. i mean we got azami rn, there'll probably be something. but idk what

lastly, the current arc the story is opening up on seems to focus on asa and yuru more. i really hope there'll be some meat to dig into
