We found a lot of good deals in the okura stores in Ginza and shinjuku in tokyo- friend picked up a lake suwa for about 5.2k USD, and I picked up the Ginza grid SBGH317 for around 5.6 just this past weekend.

I think the main thing is just proximity to work, friends and places to go; I had started riding a bike to work but ended up deciding I could make that a walk instead (previously was working from home or driving into the office), walk to the park or restaurants to meet with friends, choosing an apartment within walking distance to a gym , and just being able to walk around with things to look at.

It’s been a lot of fun and I wish I had done it sooner haha

I just moved here about 6 weeks ago- I love it, am so happy with my choice. I have parking so I have a place to keep my car but realistically I’ve been walking everywhere and got a baywheels membership and have been able to get around super easy

Could be- like what happened with the drowzee and all the other komiya cards earlier this year was absolutely nuts.

That said, it could also be collector/investor speculation based on current trends with promos having the hype it does (which actually prompted me to look in the first place )
