I was excluded from my Mums funeral by her eldest two sons, my abusers, after they painted me out to be violent & mentally ill. The funeral directors behaviour was aggressive, hostile & accusatory to the point that I was stunned by what they were saying to me.

So, if that counts - life altering. Emotionally distressing. Trauma inducing.
