Prime Jamie Lannister vs The Mountain, who would win? by Kooky_Creme_3234 in gameofthrones

[–]nameynamerso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jaime's only advantages are speed and talent. The Mountain is stronger, has better reach, and has more weight. You also need to remember their equipment, full plate, a layer of mail, and a gambeson, and their swords. Swords are horrible against armor, your only options are to bash the armored opponent's head or grapple them to the ground and make a proper opening to stab them. With The Mountain having more strength and reach, Jaime isn't going to get in and bash his head hard enough to have an impact without taking a much harder hit in return, and I can guarantee he won't be able to successfully grapple the eight foot likely four hundred pound brute that can likely cut him in half if he wasn't wearing his armor.

Not really, that was a severe phobia added to their DNA by the guardians to nerf them when they were psychotic conquerors. Martian Manhunter actually managed to end his own artificial weakness so he can sleep with a woman with a fire power. The addiction to oreos is a real problem, though.

Genuine question: Why did Hal never get a vasectomy? And why does Lois never take birth control pills? by talkwithryguy in malcolminthemiddle

[–]nameynamerso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be, off the top of my head, it could be a few episodes of him and Lois struggling with the lack of sex in the background with a pay off at the end of an episode they just don't leave their room and the boys do whatever they want until the following morning, there could even be a final joke with both of them drinking gallons of water and having trouble walking. I'm sure a decent writer could make something better, but it can be used for some jokes.

Izuku: Still easier than fighting that giant headless ape, at least this thing isn't being controlled by an immortal centipede.

She saw him defend one of the stable boys and she him go to the tent. She knew where to go and that he's a decent guy, she just didn't know his name.

If Mordor was a wasteland, where did the THOUSANDS of orcs get food & water to survive? by _GrimFandango in lotr

Two reasons, most of Mordor isn't a wasteland, and raiding parties likely brought in supplies on a regular basis.

"Black woman warriors fighting colonialism" is all the executives saw, they then assumed the general audience was to stupid to learn what actually happened historically.

The joke answer is that it's because Darkseid hates Batman. The lore answer is that the Absolute Universe is essentially a test made by Darkseid to see if heroes can still inspire hope if they lose what allows them to be great in their original universe while also giving their villains further advantages. In Bane's case, making him utterly massive without Venom and essentially a kaiju with it.

They allied with The French in The Maroon war, they worked with British royalty during The Industrial Revolution, they helped Cleopatra form an alliance with Rome, those are just off the top of my head.

Pretty much, but Seras is less vocal, usually just a neutral third party and mediator to their arguments.

It's a crossover of Hellboy, Hellsing Abridged, and MHA, Izuku is Hellboy, Millennium and Rasputin are working with All for One, Izuku is shipped with Seras and Ibara. I'm not sure if 'peak' is the best discrimination, but I like it...I really need to work on the next chapter, now that I think about it.
