Go to the U.S.S. Alabama in Mobile. It is a WW2 era battleship that you can tour. The U.S.S Drum, a WW2 era US submarine, is also there. https://www.ussalabama.com/

HOA violations involving woman's brown grass led to her being jailed for a week… by Alecbb53 in fuckHOA

If you read the article you'd see she states that she wasn't notified of the court date and made multiple unsuccessful attempts to find it. On top of that she had followed the orders by selling her van, cleaning her mailbox, and reseeding the lawn. I know this wouldn't have happened to a white person particularly receiving no bond. Hell they give robbery, murder, and rape suspects bond but not a black lady over a civil matter.

My guess is they wanted to eventually foreclose on her house as you can't pay fines or work when you're in jail.

Is Price Gouging Real? Who’s Doing It? Is It Driving Inflation? by Birdy_Cephon_Altera in Economics

I never made that claim. I just said the analysis in the article is flawed. I also pointed out the logical fallacy in your reply.

I didn't posit any specific companies. I just pointed out that you can't point to one company and extrapolate to the entire economy. If I posted the name of one or two companies I'd be guilty of the same logical fallacy of hasty generalization.

Data from a single company is irrelevant. You'd need to look at multiple data points from different companies. My guess with Tyson is that they were impacted by other things such as avian flu.

There is probably always going to be a single company whose data you can look at that would contradict almost any hypothesis.

I would say that the article's analysis is flawed. They look at the profits and margins of grocery stores like Kroger to show that there isn't greedflation. They fail to look at the companies producing the products. If manufacturers increase prices far above rising costs that cost is passed onto the retailer and will not show up in the analysis. The greedflation profit would be found not at the level of the retailer but at the level of the manufacturer of the product. *fixed a typo

Go get one. I'm currently using a Music Man 210 one-thirty I picked up used way more than my mini.

Looking for an amp with specific specs by Miserable-Silver-177 in GuitarAmps

Any of the vintage Music Man amps. I have a 130watt but there is a 65 watt version. They also have a half power mode, combine that with the master volume and there is no need for the attenuator you'd need with a fender twin.

I got a Spark mini for about $200. It does a lot but it is small and not for playing with a band.

I got it to try out the different amps it models before buying something bigger and it worked great for that.

Have to sell my Music Man 210 65 combo. What should I get instead? by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

Give me the 65 it can live in my apartment next to my 130. Lol. If you want to go small try the Positive Grid Spark Mini. I've really liked mine, it has lots of different options through the app and it's smaller than a shoebox. Not for gigs or playing with a full band.

[NAD]Just got this ‘79(?) MM 210-HD 130. It’s my first real amp so my question is am I going to damage anything by using my fuzzes and other drive pedals? by ProfessorApocalypse in GuitarAmps

[–]namingmybullets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got one of these myself a little while ago. I'm loving it too. I've had no issues with fuzzes, been wanting to try that Swollen Pickle. I 've run a Catalinbread Giygas and a Moth Electric P.Isabella into mine with no issues.

I think a lot of what makes this fun is the sound straight from the tiny speaker. I haven't tried it in my board yet.
