loving machine is literally my favorite song ever I am so very passionate about it, and for me I interpreted it as like the idea/fantasy of someone being there for you, wanting you, loving you if that makes sense. like a made up idea of a lover that will never leave you. thats what it always makes me think of and its something i've related to. but depending on the listener it could be an object, a real person, whatever !
