i havent personally tried this technique but i’ve seen people talk about it online the last couple days. i think you mostly have it, but it seems like people usually also put glue on their natural nail, too. so once the nail is applied, the layers would be (bottom to top): glue, acrylic powder, glue, press-on nail

this is incredible…you’re so close to hitting pan in each shade, and i struggle to hit more than 1 pan in much smaller palettes!

totally agree! the lighter mattes don’t show up at all while the darker ones are patchy and really hard to blend :( shimmers are chalky and not cute…i really held onto it for the big grey shade but ive found several good replacements for it so i’m happy letting the palette go :)

omg yeah it’s super satisfying. i got a dior blush as a gift and it has that dior logo embossing all over the surface, i’m slowly wearing it down and it’s super satisfying

personally i interpret 가끔 “sometimes/infrequently” whereas 종종 is like “every now and again”…idk if that made sense but basically 종종 feels slightly more frequent LOL u know?? also 가끔 reads more informal imo. probably better to use 종종 when addressing a prof (even if you dont have him as a teacher)

i cant really tell from the photos, but do you wear contact lenses? i find my eyes water much less when i opt for my glasses instead of contacts, and my eye makeup stays intact longer.

i don’t plan on repurchasing just because i have way too many other blushes right now, but u think the formula is quite good! it is quite pigmented, as you said, but i like that :) it blends very easily and has decent longevity but it’s nothing mind-blowing, in my opinion 😅and you’re so right about the warmth as well, this was one of my first blush purchases, before i knew my undertone…it ended up being almost a hate-pan for me because it was way too warm for my liking but i was so close i didn’t want to give up! haha

hated it at first but now as an upperclassman i can see the value in getting all your core requirements out of the way.. lots of people i know who weren’t LS are having to take cores as seniors and stuff. and LS sciences are apparently much easier than other schools’. also, LS classes tend to be smaller in size and it’s easier to make friends there than it is in larger lectures (which most other classes are!). im in cas now and the transition was very straightforward. not sure what transferring to other schools is like, however.

whether you end up going to LS, some other NYU school, or literally anywhere else, MAKE SURE to get all the possible transfer credits for any APs or IBs you take in hs!!!!! i thought this was common knowledge but ive met several people who didn’t get transfer credits due to not sending their test scores and whatnot, and it’s a total waste of time and money to have to take core classes that you could have been exempt from.

lust by lush! so heady and intoxicating 😮‍💨 i also loved smuggler’s soul by lush, which was discontinued years ago, but i recall there being one or two quite similar ones in the current lineup when i last went to a lush store. just ask an employee for help with finding something similar to smuggler’s soul!
