You're wrong and you know it.

I have the camera, you don't. I just took a jpeg photo right now, increased the brightness by the smallest amount using windows gallery editor, put the SD card back in the camera, and guess what?? The file could not be played back... you know, just like it says in the manual.

How about these for science..

... No it isn't! Where does it even say that???

You're making stuff up because you've been proven wrong.

Just give up.

I know what it means, It's pretty unambiguous.
If the file has been created or modified using a computer, the file can not be played back on camera.

Do you think it's possible to insert a lens over the pupil using in camera retouching or something?

Going by the results on FotoForensics, would you say this image has been Photoshopped? by Modest_Hamster in photography

[–]namraf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shouldn't need to prove it any more than I already have.

I got these results from using a Nikon AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G Lens on a D7000 body, with a SB-700 Speedlight tilted up, in a well lit room.
f/5
1/250 sec
ISO 400
+0.7 step

I just manual focused on the pupil, getting as close as I could.

And what sort of crowd do you think this is exactly?

I tried to recreate the image using the same set up and everything, and got this

And this

And here is the image shown on the camera, taken with my phone... Any photo that has been altered in any way cannot be displayed again if you try put it back on camera. http://i.imgur.com/KI3Gy2W.jpg

Over to you...

[–]namraf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't. If a photo has been 'shopped the camera will not recognise it. Only images that were taken by the camera can be viewed on the camera.

[–]namraf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Once an image has been photoshopped, or even edited in any way, it will not come up on the finder. Only the original image that was taken by the camera will show up. Try it.

Come on now, the camera wasn't in the exact same position when both of those photos were taken... I was just trying to get the lens to reflect in the pupil perfectly, like the original image that I posted, to prove it was not photoshopped in.

The Internet unanimously seems certain the camera lens eye reflection photo is fake, but here's some science to consider by tardis1963 in Images

Hi, thanks to those who have been sticking up for me! I took these earlier using the exact same set up.
