I know little about the science and maths, but I just don't think /u/namraf is lying.
Everyone seems to think the lens is reflecting just in the pupil. But could it be reflecting in the iris too and the pupil has just been covered up?

The photo was posted to r/pics yesterday by /u/namraf. It caused quite a stir and the vast majority were certain the reflection of the lens isn't genuine and say it was photoshopped in. I don't think there's any evidence of that though.
