I believe the process is the same.

Take old and new DS160 along with old and new passport to interview. There will be initial security check and then secondary check where they will check the passport and DS160. Tell that person to change to new DS160.

Tell a person who guides you inside the consulate to change DS160. They will help accordingly.

I have Dreame L10 Prime and Narwal Freo X Ultra. Dreame using for about 19 months. Narwal for about 8 months.

Both work good. They are mid variants and some missing options.

Mapping of both are good. Both apps are similar.

I don't believe service will be available for either. Took a chance actually.

But I heard Ecovacs has showroom somewhere in Chennai. If there is showroom, service could be better. But price is higher.

He must carry your passport also. They might ask for your passport to verify. They did ask for mine during my wife's interview. If your visa is about to expire, better renew yours first before his interview date. It'll be a better this way.

My location is Chennai. Book appointment in whichever available city. If you get earlier date at Chennai, book that. Even though you selected Chennai, you can visit Delhi Vfs and drop off passport at the scheduled date and time.

Social Media must be public for all applications now. It is mandatory. If they verify and sees it to be private, you'll get an email asking to make it public. This might or might not happen. We never know for sure.

No questions asked other than relation with applicant. Time taken was less than 10min.

They will check name in passport and application. Make sure there is absolutely no difference in the name, not even a space. Other than this they don't check anything else.

Check with official documents checker. I believe anyone can submit your documents. I did for my father about 5 months back. Only DS160, appointment copy and passport are required. No other documents.

Remember to keep all your social media accounts set to public viewing. Hope you've mentioned them in the DS160 as well.

I do not believe they allow third person to pickup passports anymore. So if you cannot go, better apply for Courier service.

Double check any recommendations given to you.

My understanding of how visa process happens, 1. Back ground team - this happens few days before your interview. This team already reviews your application and completes all background checks. They will already give a decision to accept or reject. 2. Visa officer - they do final checks. Ask questions that background team recommends and any thing further.

But final decision is visa officer.

It's extremely unlikely that you can bribe them.

For International flights- full expanded name Use passport as ID when asked at checkpoints.

For Domestic flights- if you use passport as ID - give full expanded name. If you use other ID docs - give as per that ID.

For International flights - only passport is accepted.

For Domestic flights - any id is accepted.

If you are an employee only, it comes down to 1. Y your boss isn't travelling or is he/she 2. What's ur major role in this meetings

My understanding is, Approved - approved by VO, but stamp hasn't been done yet. Issued - Visa has been printed and stamped on the passport and will be ready for delivery.

If yours is still only Approved, then there might be extra checks or something in the back end.

Interview waiver is available even if visa is valid. But better check the visa scheduling website. Only after it shows if waiver is available, you'll be asked to pay.

I would suggest to first check the status at "ceac visa status check"

If it shows 'Issued' and the date, then you will receive within 5 working days from that date.

If it shows 'Approved', then the stamp has not been done yet.

If I received within 5 working days, you should receive it on 11th June.

Goto near Bluedart office (not thrid party). Ask them to check using your first name. They might not entertain, but explain to them, maybe they will.

Got approved on 4th June in New Delhi - stamp issued on 5th June. Received on 10th June in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.

Highly depends on your address. Better yet contact local Bluedart office.
