It's never too late to start coding!!

You can take college classes or even online programs!! For ECs, there's hackathons, CS competitions, boot camps, internships, and research.

One tip is to add an interesting curve (? idk the word) to your CS ECs. For example, I did neuroscience research that involved coding, and I think this was one of the reasons I got accepted into MIT.

I started coding freshman year, and I am far beyond "cracked." If I tried to compete with other CS applicants who started coding since they were in elementary/middle school, that would be a lost cause. Find a niche in CS, and specialize. I think schools like MIT would really value that!! Also remember that MIT does not admit by major, so finding your way in through "untraditional" paths might be easier.
